Course Curriculum Overview

The reason for the chosen this the I was very much interested in the studying the course which I had opptied so had chosen this . The teaching methods are also very good and very Highly satisfied and qualified faculty are the department and the university

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 9810 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tuition fees are also very liberal and the tuition fee will increase in the odd semester and decrease in the even semester the fee in the university is liberal compared to the outside the university. The total cost of the fee will be different from the course to courses that you choose and mine is a round 4 lakhs.

Campus Life

There are different types of annual and monthly festivals happened in the university like there will be department festival and the university wide fest happened. The technical and the classroom facilities are also very good and the other extracurricular are aslo taken place in the university

Hostel Facilities

The facilities in the hostel are very modern and the facilities were good and the quality of the food also good and the registration process for the hostel is easy the process will in the application form and you can after coming to the university

Hostel Fee: INR 16210 per year

Admission

The eligibility of the course is different from one course to another course. The candidate has to check the eligibility of the course which he wants to apply for the university before applying in the portal of the university and then applying through the online registration form. The application form will be the university portal and he applied the cuet portal the exam fee for the entrance will be in the cuet portal and the starting dates of the application and the last will be the cuet portal and also in the university portal. The reservation benefits are also available for the candidate according to the university norms. The exam difficult is there but the timing for the exam and the syllabus need to be concerned and accordingly, we have prepared for the exam, we have to manage accordingly to the difficulty of the topics, if you use time properly then you will feel easy. Campus Life @ Central University of Karnataka

Likes

The campus was too good in its environment.
The exposure was too good with good library facilities.
We can socialise with Pan Indian exposure

Dislikes

Hostel facilities was not well maintained
Hostel food was not that much good sometimes
College was situated in a rural place, it was so hard to travel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

A honest Review of KJC

Likes

Well maintained Campus with almost 4 blocks and a lot of canteens
knowledgeable faculty and a lot of interesting and practical subjects
A lot of fests and programs almost every day

Placement Experience:

We have a separate placement cell, and everyone interested can join in for the same. We have students placed in target, Deloitte, Accenture and other companies, both domestic and international. Students in the final year can be eligible for the campus placements.

Fee is not worth to the college they are money minded
The behaviour of principal is not good towards students
80 persent over there are Malayalam students

Why Azim Premji University?

Likes

The quality of teaching for my course - BA Economics (Hons) is exceptional. The professors give quality time with each student to ensure concepts are clear and go beyond the surface level teaching of all concepts.
Every student gets their own mentor, who is a professor within the University who will help you guide yourself through everything, ranging from academic difficulties to personal grievances. There are regular sessions scheduled with these mentors..
There is plenty of freedom in the university. Unlike other university's there is no strict dress code or unreasonable rules for the students to follow. The campus allows each indivitual to be true to themselves.

Dislikes

The campus is very far from the city, making it difficult to have any sort of weekend get aways to the city tiresome. There are very few places around the campus that will let you experience city life.
The university does not encourage competitive spirit festivals like youth festivals apart from sports. Hence narrowing down the avenues where students can get certificates for extra curriculars to add on to your CVs
Academic rigor can get too overwhelming sometimes and one may not get time to study for other parallel exams for masters like GMAT, CAT, GRE etc. Finding time for extra curriculars may also get difficult.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Insight into KJC by a real life student

Likes

The campus is a plus. It's really clean and green. They really take care of the cleanliness of the Campus. As for the girls to boys ratio, in my class there are more girls than boys. Idk much about college overall.
I like my professors a lot. But it's all about luck. I got nice ones.
We have LMS in college. So we are provided with notes and syllabus online that we can use anytime we want.

Dislikes

The administrative office is very annoying sometimes. Just to answer one question they send the students to different offices and waste our time.
I don't understand the dress code system. I mean it's good but girls are not allowed to wear long skirt. I'm not talking about short clothes. But even long skirts are not allowed.
I would say I dislike the locality sometimes. It's not that developed so there's always something kind of construction going on which causes a lot of pollution and breathing problem specially for me with breathing issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks.
