Likes
- I liked the academic curriculum. It helps to improve our efficiency and also make us realize what is our weakness and where we need to improve.
- I liked rules and regulations of college . We need to follow these rules otherwise we will get severe punishment. It also maintains discipline in college.
- I like our placement. I am now in 2nd year and our all 4th year students got placement.
Dislikes
- There is huge distance between various colleges. We need to walk a lot and also in afternoon it's really hot.
- There is huge crowd which increases competition a lot which decreases package of students.
- There is a lot strictness for girls and they have to obey it, otherwise they will be fined or removed from college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of VIT is really good. They are providing quality courses which will help us in future job. They are also preparing us for logicall thinking by giving soft skill course which is vital as today's companies are asking these questions also to check your intelligence. I dont think of any improvements in course curriculum and teaching methods because as of now it's best. The time of exam is 1.5 hours and difficulty level is average.
Internships Opportunities
The college provide mails for nternship and we can easily apply for it. College also provides internship in various startups . We can go and request to our Head of departments(HOD) for internships if we are not having any. There is also some credits which we need to complete through internships.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are good here. from 7th semester we can sit for placement.Many big companies are visited and almost everyone gets placement.Highrst package is 1.05 crore and average package is 17 lakhs. After getting degree I will sit for placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is 2 lakhs. It also depends upon your ranking. If you are in category 1 you need to pay 2 lakhs, if in 3 you need to pay 3 lakhs. If in 4 you need to pay 4 lakhs and if in 5 you need to pay 5 lakhs. The service fee is fixed which is 2 lakh. 25 % scholarship is available if yourrankis below 1000.
Campus Life
My campus life is really good. The atmosphere is good. There are two main fest in VIT- gravitas and riveria. Good amount of books and journals are available in VIT, Faculties are good and good technologies such as whiteboard and projector are available. Sports and extra caricular activies are also there and they also conduct competitions such as football,cricket etc and they also take students to various colleges off campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel faculties are called warden here.They monitor us and if we need any help, they are ready for it. My mess meal quality is best. Once you are registered in VIT they will let you know about hostels or you can visit vit.ac.in for information .
Admission
The admission process was based on your score of your physics chemistry and maths of 12th board exam. The average of these three subject should be above 50 % . Then only you are eligible. The application form,fees and dates are announced on vit.ac.in website.I don't know about reservation benefit.The frequency of exam ia about 1.5 month and the difficulty level is average. For qualifyong for VIT you need to write enterance exam and based on your marks you will come to know your rank and also you will know are tou eligible or not. My opinon is that VIT should not increase intake of students as it will lead to competiton.
