Likes

Nature i.e greenery in the college. So peace and calm
Club facilities that campus provide and allocation of budget to that clubs.
Library. It contains almost all genre and particular books in all domains

Dislikes

Temperature. Since trichy is very hot ,its so tuft to live here in summer.
No AC facility in the classrooms and even Library
Hostel is not at all good for the institute demand

My course is production engineering,mostly it relates to mechanical engineering. My course is totally based on industrial activities. Coming to the faculty, most of the professors are well qualified but the scholars who are working under them, takes some courses which causes difficulty to understand.

Class Size: 117Course Fees: INR 124000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies came for internship opportunities. Capital one- 1 lakh Uber - 1 lakh Oracle- 1 lakh John deere- 40000 And many more The eligibility criteria is cgpa of students and resume. The shortlisting process depends on the company whichever comes to the campus. Each and every student should attend the company process in formals only.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester,the students are eligible for campus placements. There are n no. Of companies that visit our campus and campus placement opportunities are really good. The highest package of the last year is 56lpa. The percentage of the students getting placements is above 80.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees per each semester is 62,500 rupees. Mess fees and hostel fess are 24,500 and 29,150 respectively per each semester. There is fee refund based on income. The student who has their family income below 1 lakh no need to pay tution fees. College is open for many scholarships based on knowledge and family economy.

Campus Life

There are two fests per semester where one is technical and two are cultural and one is sports oriented. Campus is full of greenery with more than enough no. Of trees. There are many clubs involved in the campus almost in all domains and the opportunities for the club members are also so high.

Hostel Facilities

Two students per room. Two fans, two beds,two tables and two almarah's are given. Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance. Mess fees per semester is 29,150 and two messes are there for girls one is north and another is south

Admission

I have written JEE MAINS and i got 93.05 percentile and i have applied for this college in josaa and csab and i got nit trichy seat in csab round. In admission, the ranks cutoff was not clear and its based on luck.

Interview Experience

There was no GD or interview but there was an entrance called JEE Mains. This exam consists of Maths, Physics and Chemistry and multiple choice questions pattern. Students all over india attempt this exam and i got 93 percentile among them.

Likes

The college staffs are friendly and staffs are also very much involved into extracurricular activities.
The college has well maintained lavatories
The staffs send us internship opportunities

Dislikes

The drinking water facilities are poor and not well utilized
The college dont have active participation or training for sports, but they are focusing more now.
Water stagnates during rain at college premising and has poor bike parking facilities

Placement Experience:

The college brings in mass recruiters during the placement season during 7th semester itself and companies, the avg package would be 4-5 LPA and companies with high pakages also come in for hiring but has huge competition.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

I applied in many colleges like IIT'S ,NIT'S AND CENTRAL UNIVERSITY. I was not getting any IIT so after that I chose this college because of its brand value,nirf ranking,alumini network and the peer group it holds .i did not got IIT because of my marks as I haven't scored enough in ncet exam for clearing their cut off. for admission you have to had physics, chemistry,maths in you class 12th with atleast 50 percent.although each college have different different requirement.after that you have to get good marks in ncet exam and you must have taken the subject in ncet exam that you are applying to get .for more information related admission you can check admission brochure at nit Trichy website they publish before opening registration for new admission....Read More

The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation .
