Neither updated nor outdated curriciulam. DoMS has a choice of choosing any elective subjects at any given trimester at any given specialization. Exam is once in every 3 months and cycle test is in the mid of every trimester

Placements are really good a good pool of companies recruit the students . The average package is around 900000 and it varies depending upon the company. Overall we have Return of Investment and its really good placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee details : Institutional Fees - 272000rs Hostel and Mess Fees - 94700 (1year) Total fees - 461400rs Average placement package is 7-9L and highest package is 40L in DoMS. Student Scholarship is provided.

Campus Life

The events that take place are festember, pragyan a techo management event ,NITTFEST in april Nisadhya for MBA department and Prabandhan for industrial exposure for MBA students. There are around 25000 books available in the central library and there is a well designed sports complex.

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for the Hostel facilities its good and the meal quality is also okay not too many options but still its good and after you pay the insititute fees you have to register for hostel and mess together.

Eligibility: should have written CAT and must have above 60 percentage in 10th, 12th and UG Application form: official website Applications fees: 1550rs Entrance Exam : CAT The Admission process was smooth, but the website is not updated.

Interview Experience

There was no GD round, the topics for PI were generally from the UG background and some basic general knowledge questions. Initially there was admission form filling then there was PI round happening after that the shortlisted candidates names were published. I had prepared for XAT exam for which there was general knowledge syllabus so that really helped me a lot in this case.

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . The NIMCET exam is conducted in June and form filling date is tilll April of every year. Form fees for NIMCET is 2,500 for general and OBC. The syllabus for NIMCET is similar to JEE . NIT Trichy is the best choice

This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
