Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I took in my college is computer science and engineering and the course is pretty good as the faculty and the professors are good they are teaching well and the subjects are quite good and the coding part is some what tough in the course but it is very important in computer science and engineering branch as all the software jobs are through this only

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure in my college is around 55,000 for hostel and the tution fees is 62,500 per semester and there are many scholarships available for us in the college like NSP and FFE for various students in all years. I am getting FFE scholarship which is from a private organisation

Campus Life

My experience in my college is quite good and I'm in various cultural fests and playing various games and also performed various social activities and the infrastructure in our college is pretty good. It is filled of green trees and the hostels and classes are very clean and good

Admission

My admission process for my college is through JOSAA counselling after writing JEE MAINS exam which is all over India. After writing the exam seats are given according to the ranks for the exam and the cutoff for the exam is around 94 percentile marks and we have to get atleast 99 percentile to get a seat in our college. The application fees for joining in our college is 35,000 and the thing which I didn't like in admission process is the category of the students ,like is any student getting less marks also having a category getting the seat in the college rather than the student who did good but bot having any reservations.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
