Likes

Sports facilities like we have sport complex.
I like my branch symposium called sensors.
I like library where I can read many litrature story.

Dislikes

I dislike timetable for library it's closing time is around 7 pm.
I also dislike mess food here someday they give only idli.
I also dislike percentage criteria for attandance.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was quite interested in Sensors, Instrumentation how it work what is the logic behind any machine. There are two labs in a week which gives us real time experience in about sensors and electrical circuit. They should provide proper time for individual student in labs.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually we have odd and even semester. In odd semester we have to pay more amount of money than even semester. It's around 8 lakhs for four year. As per your course if you are pursuing btech. Many scholarship has been given to the students.

Campus Life

We have two fests one is pragyan and festember one is technicall fest and another one is cultural fest. We have around 2 lakhs book in library. Whatever you want to read as per your choice. As example if you want to read literature book. We have projectors and smart facilities like speaker system. We have many ground to play like we have NSO ground.

Admission

A person can get admission through the score of jee mains. It should be minimum 99.0 percentile. We can find application form on nitt official website In notice board. There is about 50 percent seats belong to home sate quota and other remaining seats are for other state students. The exam timing is about 3 hours.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
