VIT invites students to participate in summer internships with a range of organizations, including businesses, non-profits, government agencies, and research centers. Throughout the internship search and application process, the university's placement cell offers advice, tools, and support to help students identify appropriate internship opportunities. This includes helping students prepare for interviews, write resumes, and connect with possible companies.

Throughout the school year, the placement cell arranges a range of events to improve students' employability skills, such as lectures, workshops, aptitude tests, and simulated interviews. The institution has solid working partnerships with many different types of businesses in many areas. Companies frequently visit the school for recruitment drives, have pre-placement lectures, and offer internships to students as a result of these ties.VIT showcases the achievement of its students in landing employment offers by publishing placement statistics on a monthly basis. These figures show details about the number of businesses that come to campus, the typical pay scale, the placement rate of students, and the variety of industries that are represented.
