I was having four subjects in each year. Two subjects were main and other two were subsidiary so my main subjects were Hindi and English and subsidiary subjects were Economics and Hindi. The curriculum was relevant to the modern education system.

The fee structure was very reasonable, I spent approx Rs.5500/-for my whole graduation. The fee used to be paid on the yearly basis which also included examination charges. It was a one-time payment in a year and very affordable. I paid Rs.1850/- which include my tuition fee, library charges, examination fees etc. , in the second year I paid only Rs.1650/- and in the final year, I paid only Rs.1750/-.
College was not providing any scholarship facility and there was no loan system as college was having only Commerce and Humanities streams and there were no professional or job oriented courses.
College sometimes called the alumni students. But now it's a long time as I have completed my graduation in 2002. I am talking about my college life which finished 15 years back.
All faculties and lecturers were so qualified and experienced who taught very well which also proved beneficial in my further studies as later on I did Master in Economics and Post Graduation Diploma in Educational Management and Administration from other universities.
Students can apply for jobs are attend interviews only after graduating from IGNOU. The job availability after obtaining a degree from IGNOU is limited to a few well-known companies in India. Remaining companies look for students with a full-time degree or regular degree. Students can easily get jobs in startups, MNC call centres, domestic corporate companies. I was offered Job by Convergys, 24/7 and Concentrix. Students can easily earn from 15,000 to 20,000 Rupees. All Students will definitely get a good job. I will pursue post-graduation.
Final year or Sixth Semester students are eligible for the placements that are conducted by SOL at the end of the year but you've to register for it manually, your profile doesn't get automatically registered to any of the placement drives.
Going by the seniors and the alumni the placement ratios of the previous years have been really good. So hoping that it will be the same ratio of around 70-75% in the coming years as well. As we are in the pandemic saying anything will be foolish but yeah let's see.
In the last semester of graduation, there used to be placements for the courses. The placements were not really good for every course but only for the selective ones. The placement opportunities for psychology department are not really good and there were very few institutions who used to come for hiring students. Especially for the bachelors, it's not up to the mark as compared to other universities. The few companies that used to come for hiring offered packages from 3-4 lakhs max. My plan after getting a degree was to pursue my masters because without it a bachelors in psychology is of no use in india. There are very few opportunities.
Here we get no campus placement. Students can prepare for off-campus placement with extra skills Most students of open learning universities either prepare for competitive exams or do jobs.

The administration facility not so good, being a reputed govt. college i think they have to be improve and active. Like when i got my name in the merit list and we went to faculty for admissions as on the website there was written the date and time for admission but when i went to the department they are saying we don't know when the admission will be start. No one's knows about the exact schedule when the admission will be start nobody answers for study materials etc. I think there must be an spokesperson who provide information about admission, Syllabus, Prescribed colleges, Hostels, study material and examination dates.
Follow & Share this college to get information about admission.
