Overall a good living experience as it's one one the top universities of India
Situated in the beautiful and spiritual city of varanasi
Campus is beautiful it's very huge and got students from overall country and from overseas as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course i chose is a vocational course which includes most of the practical knowledge and less theory. There are much scope as you'll gain some good practical knowledge and skills ralated to the industry. As the college provides constant paid internships after each semester.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You can apply to any hotel company and the university provides the NOC without any objection but the expenses are all yours. In hotels you have to work different roles within each department of the industry and you will get a training certificate with a decent stipend by the company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for each semester (6months) is around 55000. So the overall tuition fee is about 3,50,000 rs. and the living and other day to day charges are separate. As i haven't got the hostel so my monthly living cost goes around 10,000 rs. The university also provides state and central scholarships each year, so half of the tuition fee almost gets refunded.

Campus Life

The students got their on accounts on the student portals by the university which helps keeping all the student related info including marks n all. And the course organizes many cultural and fun events at a certain period of time regularly including sports events between the courses and between faculties as well. And the overall campus got the wifi facilities and the classrooms got separate projestors and screens for smart education.

Admission

Course is eligible after class 12th with any board which much include a language. Then you have to give an entrance called CUET UG to take admission in the university. You can apply for BHU from the official website of the Cuet and the application fees is around 1100 rs for gen or obc category. Then give exams a/o the required subjects and once you clear and eligible for the course you'll get notifications and call from the university on the official website of the university.

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

Likes

The syllabus of Vocation courses are good with variety of Subjects to learn with practical exposure, classroom learning and many more.
Internship opportunities in every course based on their circulam as one month internship to 6 month internship of whole semester.
Professionalism and Personality development through classroom to industry in hand experience as well as professional profile through LinkedIn and recognition.

Dislikes

Food and water quality are quite low with limited options for boys in that area
Student strength are very low on an average 15 to 25 only, in 2025 strength quite increased to 35. Girls' boys ratio are different in different course such as MLT and FPM have more girls than other course

Placement Experience:

BHU is a well established university in every department. But some are less developed like DDU kaushal kendra RGSC BHU Mirzapur. After internship in 4 semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are limited company and agencies releted to Hospitality and Tourism Management are connected with us. About 3 to 4 lakhs of average platform if someone also actively looking forward to and only half of students get placement. Due to the not only companies but also at student end they are not capable for service industry with required skills sets. I am now planning to pursue PG in management courses from central university like BHU DU UoH etc

The area of campus is very huge if you get bored you can walk by and the best part is that every thing was available nearby you don't have to go far away for something expect cloths.
You can take beautiful pictures and saw many different types of animals in the campus.
Many different programms were invented in the college including sports carnival, disha, etc.

Dislikes

Every building were placed far away beacuse the campus is huge
The distance between girls hostel and college is almost 1-2 km
Sometimes it gives too much heat and sometimes it give too much cold.

Placement Experience:

After 5 or 6 semester the students are eligible to get campus placement in different companies. Many companions were xame like nestle, sudha, etc. The highest pakage us about 20 lakh/ anum and average package is 5-10 lakh per anum. There is about 80% change of placement of sudents number.

My Journey of College

Likes

The best think of college is that no mobile phone was allowed in the campus. Their is very strict rules and regulations in this college.and 75 percent attendence is required in any case, you have no then your admit card was not issued you can payalt.
I am very engaging in my college attending regular class and participating various types of activities for social interaction I am also participating in RBI quiz and winning prize also.
College provide best placement opportunities for their students for enhancing their career and succession planning. Faculty members of my department DDUKK is very friendly and familiar assessing us how to grab a opportunity and assist every steps

Dislikes

Some time it might be become difficult not using phone in the college in case you have urgent call so you can't receive the call without teacher permission you can take teacher permission after that you can receive the call.
In this college they do not organize any event for students refreshments.
The penalty which is taking by College for issuing the admit card.

Placement Experience:

In final semester you are eligible for campus placement.most reputated company in visit in the college for placement. Highest package as per company is approx 6.5lakh. 20% students grab this opportunity because of their skills, creative aptitude, ability and value of commitment

Welll I really like the nature of our chairman he is so friendly and our college is based on three things sikha sanskaar and rojgaar
I REALLY LIKE THAT HOE CLEAN AND GREENY OUR COLLEGE IS....IT HAVE VERY GOOD ENVIRONMENT AND VERY CLEAN AND HYGIENE PLACES
I like the bus facilities of our college....our college have vast network of buses that run around whole lucknow

Dislikes

Well I don't like my warden she is not that understanding
I don't like that we have to share our room with 3 girls
Sometimes I don't like when we don't get a chance to show our talent

Placement Experience:

Welll from last year of the course the students become eligible for the jobs and the college do provide jobs there are many companies who come and take students the average package is about 2 to 4 lac and the highest is 7 to 8 lac .... mostly 10 students from the class get the jobs ...my plans are that i will go for online amd offline campus jobs

The Rajiv Gandhi south campus is a government institute and a campus of banars hindi University. The university provides us lots of benifits a student as a students requirements we get lots of facilities like sport gym there are various workshop held
The workshop held in campus gives us lot of information about life society health and other various great and educated facilities come several time to interact with students and share there knowledge and experience throughout the students
The teaching facility is very helpful the professor intract with students solve our each query and try to help the students in every possible aspects . The classrooms are very luxurious full AC rooms and comfortable tabe and chair proper laboratories

Dislikes

There must bhi a facility of transport should be improved and make better
There is proper grenery in campus but it could be enhance more a little effort on plantation will make the campus more beautiful
The library is closed on Sunday we want that the authorities should approve to be open of library on Sunday as students are free and if they want to study so they can prefer library on Sunday

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i preferred a medical laboratory technology course I love this course and more because the professor teach us very well this course consists experiment and practical more than theory so we spend lot of our time in laboratory with experience facilities this course make us a well educated laboratory technician and we can work in any hospital as a technician with better sallary

taking admission in the South campus of BHU

Likes

The location of this campus is located around Vindhyachal ranges which makes it beautiful.
It is considered as one of the largest closed campus in India
There's no hassle in this campus and outsiders comes very less because it is situated far from city

Dislikes

Nearby market is 10 km away so you have to pick auto
There are no good cafes and restaurants nearby
For girls they close hostels at 5:30 to 6 PM

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum looks very old. As my course is professional and need practical knowledge apart from theoretical knowledge we need practice materials. Which are not there. Placement cell is not that much good. You have to find internships or jobs on your own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bvoc (Bfsi) scope in the Banking line is very good. Sports and study are equally done with full spirit. Fest is also performed from time to time. The library is also available all books are available there. The classrooms are also too good.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. I got seat in AU but same time BHU also, so I have to decide one. I put my seat for upgradation and then BVoc HTM. From 2022, there is only one entrance exam to take admission in all central state University in india. That is CUET common university entrance test conducted by NTA. Excellent Place for higher education

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level.
