Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really good, introducing us to the topics slowly and in such a manner that we get what's to be known.

Internships Opportunities

Yup, the university provides some internships. Till now we didn't had any internship.

Placement Experience

The placements are not quite high. But I hope this is a good start. This is the first outgoing batch of our university for B.Tech.

College Events

There are many events going on around the campus, they're quite big. Most of them are student organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is like any other Deemed University but the scholarships that they provide are really good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the university provides scholarship but obviously not 100% for every student hence a supporting loan might be required.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I'm starting in hostel. And it's mandatory to stay in hostel. There are single, double and triple occupancy rooms. Yes we're having PGs not soo big, yet good.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculty are highly experienced and skilled all of them had completed their PhDs from renowned Universities.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
