Remarks

College Placement is good for CS and ISE branch only.

Entrance Preview

Because at that time the college placement was very good and it was at its peak that time. The placement of the core branch was also very good. The placements in our college were good. Mostly, the students from CSE, ECE and ISE got selected in placements compared to civil, mechanical and electrical departments. For our senior batch, the placements were good. The highest salary offered was 14 LPA, and the lowest will be depending on student skills and company, and it will be nearly Rs. 40,000 per month. The companies like Amazon, Wipro, Samsung, Intel and many other companies visit our college. They offer programming skills and coding skills. About 80% of students got an internship from college. We have a placement cell, which is helpful to the students to face the interviews. The highest stipend offered during the internship is Rs. 9,500 and the lowest stipend offered is Rs. 7,000. Therefore overall placement is good for use and is branch nowadays.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was good but was not excellent. They should include some hands-on projects rather than vtu exam syllabus and preparation. If you see from placement point of view then its the most important thing one should have in the course. It was not so good.

Internships Opportunities

Till my time it did not provide any internships except from some workshops and labs but you can do on your own.

Placement Experience

4

Good placements are available for those who are in CS IS, EC branches. For rest, it's average. For mechanical, it is a bit harder as core companies that visit the college are few in number. Overall, I can say that its placements are well enough. Under VTU, there is no more chance of getting placed when compared to other autonomous colleges in this level.

College Events

3.5

Kalanjali was the only good event which was good. But for the name sake there are many departmental fest like verve for ISE , aadhar for TC, ASEEEMITH for EEE. None of the events are good only they are for nama sake.No one participate in these events generally.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very high as compared to other colleges in other state but in karnataka its almost same everywhere. Its not feasible for everyone who comes from simple background. The fee is not worth what college provides and the infrastructure is also not good.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. There is no scholarship who is coming from comedy examination but for kcet Karnataka students there are some scholarships.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is very good if you have good friends and its quite big. The gender ratio is also quite impressive. Coming to extracurricular activities if you are interested then there are many activities in between the semesters. If you are interested then there are many events like debate.

Hostel Facilities

3

Very bad, awful, lousy many words can be given to the quality of food. Its the most hateful thing of engineering life one suffer. Better to live outside so that you can have your choice of food. Rest all hostel facilities are good and if you don't bother about food.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good and seniors are also good. They are very helpful even after getting passed out from the college.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good. You have many chances to pass the internal exam and you can easily make the average for external exams. So you don't have to study the whole semester for examinationsIt'sbut it also depends on a branch and your Hod. Generally, it's overall good.

Admission

Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) for management seats.I got admission through comedk exam. After that they called me for counselling and there were two rounds of counselling.

Faculty

3.5

Some faculties are very good but some are inexperienced. We need more teachers who teach with a concept not theoretically only to pass the examination. The main thing is the concept so that one can remember for long days until the placement and after that too.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
