Course Curriculum Overview

As doing life science will give you many opportunities. Like life has 3 main subject zoology,botany, chemistry and if you are interested in doing masters after your graduation you can opt any of the three subject for it. Or you can also do msc biotechnology through this course.

Placements are mostly happen in Cs department and in SPIE society. So my suggestions is you can join spie society. I don't know about the companies as the placement is for cs department Average pakage 12lakh per year Percentage should be more the 8.2 My places are giving cds exam

Fees and Financial Aid

As the year passes your fee will be decrease as the institution is government under delhi university. As schloarships are based on the activities you do in college like achieving award on the behalf of college from sports or conferences etc. Or schloarships are also based on your marks. Campus is very good in terms of structure and in terms of greenery.

Campus Life

As the campus is very best in terms of greenery, the chirping of birds in the morning make you relax. The annual festival are dandiya night freshers, farewell and fest of college. Last year college had invited karan randhawa for the fest. All types of study books are available in andc library Classroom are cleaned daily and AC were present in all labs. College organized tournaments and matches twice in every year. Social groups are DHAWANI, DHUN, SPIE, MAYARA etc.

Admission

At 2021 the admission is based on the class 12th marks and my percentage is 8.3 due to which i got admission in bsc life science which is a 3 year course at that time. No at my time no such exam like cuet had came.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Some knowledge some confusion

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
