Course Curriculum Overview

4

Regarding curriculum its still the old orthodox syllabus as prescribed by the government authority.Pratical aspects are bit less but teachers here try their best to explain concepts and give us practical experience by various industrial visits ,projects. So its near to same as in other NITS.Area of improvement would be including the updated version of each topics and including more of practical areas where we can be made industry ready There are basically two CT's 20 marks test in one semester of one course and one end sem exam.Due to medical reason one can give one compensation CT and in lab course there is one midsem and endsem. Some course have high difficulty level but some have bit less level but relative grading makes it quite tougher.

Internships Opportunities

3

In my department on campus core internship opportunities are too bleak and around 6-7 out of 80 students gets on campus internship and rest other avails off campus internship and many others avail internship in some other IT, consulting, management sectors. But most them managed to have internship.Average in campus intership stipend would be 5000 and off campus would be 20000 and highest of my department was 100000

Placement Experience

3.5

After completion of 6 semester one become eligible for placement and internship is in 3rd years. Placement of my department is around 14 lpa average and 12lpa median Placement is given to every student here. Its just 5-7 percent among those who wants having placement doesn't gets placed rest others who are wnat placement often gets placed from any department.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees of my first semester is 62500 rupees and the other fees for a year is around 18000 and in second sem u don't need to pay other fees just the tution fees.Regarding hostel and mess fess its 49500 for first semester and 43500 for second semester.Hikes are annually and is around 5 percent. One with having family income less then 1 lacs and having government certificate can avail 100 percent remissions of tution fees and one with family income less than 5 lacs and greater 1 lac can avail 75 percent remission. One can also avail other scholarship availed by government and other private entities such as reliance,Ongc..

Campus Life

4

Annual fest named Festember is one of the most famous fest of south india and its technical fest pragyan is among best technical frst around india and best in south india.Linrary are accessible all day till 8 pm.All the basics facility is provided in classroom. Many clubs in every aspects are out there and is playing a important role to make us learn important social, communication, networking skills and club culture is quite dominant here

Admission

Eligibility is 12th pass and admission process is via JEE mains which application can be filled twice from nta jee mains website and exam of it is around January and April in shifts.Reservations are also provided. For most NITS it have around 50 percent seats reserved for home state students and it has all others reservations given by Indian government. Difficulty level of question is not high but high competition makes it hard for getting selected.Areas of improvement is very few

Faculty

4

Faculty members are learned and highly qualified. Most of then have phD degrees from some IITs or reputed institution. The faculty to student ratio would be 1:15 as the numbers of faculties in my branch is 25 and students in all years is 320 but in class while teachings its 1:80.Moat teachers follow the method of explain the concepts regarding their subject by using ppts and some explains it even ki n boards. We have chances of interacting with faculty daily in lecture hall and moreover we can visit our department to ask doubtls and other stuffs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
