Likes

The college is tier 1 college and they provide as many facilities as they can also the atmosphere here. Is very competitive as many of the students' are of the level of IIT and coding culture and everything is perfect here

Dislikes

The mess food and hostel facilities lacks somewhere. Regardless being a top tier college the respond to the compliants are little bit late and also management issues are there

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeahhh course is quite relevant also the opportunities they provide here for each and every course is quite well . Here many profs has direct contacts with IIT madras profs so to grab internship opportunity in IIT madras is quite easy as compared to other colleges.still curriculum is quite old and boring . Exams are conducted well also the checking is to the point

As before i told the internship opportunities are quite well many students from our college got internship opportunities in big MNCs like google, Microsoft, goldmann sachs etc hence if you struggle for your internship and has an skillset which that particular company wants it then definitely opportunities are many to grab for

Placement Experience

Placements are good here but this year due to company recession the placements stats were not that well and many students from other departments (non-circuital) who has chosen software as there domain faced lot of problems due to recession casuing companies hiring less number of people

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is there for general obc candidates and for sc,st there's no tution fees all they have to pay is for hostel and mess that's all but for us (general,obc) tuiton is fess is there considering mess food and all per sem you'll have to pay 1,10,000 including mess andd hostel fees. For one year fees is 2,20,000

Campus Life

Overall it's best like you can feel here that this college cam be best college if you preferred to choose nit trichy you. Won't regret at all the clubs for every hobby which you have Also sports contingent team for sport which you wanna play or has an interest in

Hostel Facilities

You will get one wardrobe one fan one bed table and chair also wifi is available For first years accomldation is 4 seater or 3 seater But from 2nd year onwards you'll get 2 seater accomodation as well as the maintenance in the hostel is quite well

Hostel Fee: INR 41900 per year

Admission

Admission process is quite long as you have to fill the form of jossa then you will getting and option to fill the college list as per your preference it's better to conslut someone before putting list so as to know which college you can get on obtained rank

Faculty

Faculties are damnn good also most of them are phd holders profs and also assistant's profs most of them done there mastsers in prestigious IITs.still the methodology of teaching is quite old except some profs who teach really welll but as we know in. College it's 30% teacher's job and 70% our so that's what i wanna say

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . NIT Trichy is the best choice

This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
