Likes

The course plan is designed in a nice way that it enables u to fetch in depth knowledge of your course
The diversity in culture . Students from all around the nation come here and u will get to hear multiple languages all around youself which helps in personality development
Great placements and internship opportunities and great guidance by the seniors and professors

Dislikes

The climate. It's super hot here in Trichy all along the year there are only two seasons summer and rain
Discrimination and partiality is quite clearly visible among the locals and people from other states
Travelling from north sides is the toughest part of being an nittian

Course Curriculum Overview

Nit Trichy offers a well planned course for all the branches . The labs and classrooms are very interactive and well maintained and the course plan is such that the academics As well as the placement preparation can be managed hand in hand

Internships Opportunities

Some of the companies that's visit us are Google Amazon oracle nvidia texas Qualcomm tata which offer stipend of around 20k to 2 lakh for interns whereas average package of nitt is 15 lpa which is improving year by year

Placement Experience

From 5 th sem onwards they can sit for internships and after the end of 3 Rd year placements season starts which goes on for good 3-4 months with number of big companies visiting us. The opportunities are surplus .

Fees and Financial Aid

After end of 2nd year companies provide internships and numerous companies of multiple domains hires from nitt with some handsome amount of stipends along with that the club and other things pave a path for u to upskill urself even more . Fees annually is 2 lakh for btech which includes hostel and mess too and in my opinion the rate of return is quite decent

Campus Life

The overall college life is a complete roller coster ride with opportunities not only in acads but also in other fields of interests of student. The sport complex is well designed for sports enthusiasts we have a total of 5 grounds and there are number of clubs as per ur interests. Some of them are spider (tech club) and delta , Rmi , music troop , 180dc

Hostel Facilities

This one is tricky .hostels are overall great but the day to day problems are still there and upper authority just like anywhere else is lethargic . But we learn to live through or say enjoy it. Overall it's good

Hostel Fee: INR 42000 per year

Admission

Admission happens on basis of jee mains result and being the top nit the top rankers join Nitt . There is reservation for OBC girls sc and st and the pwd and alsl theres home state quota for students of Tamil nadu

Faculty

They are very highly qualified and have a great knowledge . The way they impart that knowledge is what separates the number 1 nit from others . The professors are in a sense strict but it ultimately builds u for tougher challenges

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . The NIMCET exam is conducted in June and form filling date is tilll April of every year. Form fees for NIMCET is 2,500 for general and OBC. The syllabus for NIMCET is similar to JEE . NIT Trichy is the best choice

This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
