Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus they are maintaining is quite attractive and iam someone who took metallurgical and materials engineering by going through the syllabus as I was interested in the cource. Their curriculum is well maintained and the exams are all happening on time because of it. The cource plan will be explained in the starting of the classes so that students can plan accordingly and perform.it is relative grading for most of the subjects there are also absolute graded subjects. Cgpa is decided on the grade and number of credits
Placement Experience
From 3rd sem students will be working on placements and stuffs and mostly in 4rh sem they will be placed. Placement rate of nit Trichy is pretty good. Highest package is around 50lpa and average package is like 24lpa. As iam focusing core of material science I am planning to go for highers
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure varies for different quota and it is different in each sems . Scholarships are provided for the ones with weak financial background which is so important for increasing their standard of living As iam from first year I don't have any internships but we get an opportunity for being por through different fests and clubs of nit Trichy
Campus Life
Campus life experience is really good as it gives a greater exposure and improves us in every ways. Library has a specific building where you can find all sort of reference books.the facilities and technological provisions in classrooms are pretty good.and moreover we are given oportunities to get into the club of our desire through induction
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms and facilities are pretty good but first years might find difficulty in getting network (wifi) .the mess doesn't have much quality in food when it comes to the end of the semester but it is okay okay only . In first year we have mixed menu for girls and but from second year girls and boys we will be having north and south mess which we can opt accordingly.ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus and hostels . First years have different hostels and mess , girls have 6 hostels and boys have around 22 hostels.steward will be provided for each hostels and there are rollcall for girls .
Admission
Eligibility to get into nitT is jee mains . For getting into nit Trichy the cut offs are different for different quota . The application and all are done through the josaa website which will be open after jee main results. And online admission is so convenient as they plan and execute it perfectly as it is different timings for different departments
Faculty
Faculties are experienced and qualified, they are always available for doubt clearance and all as they have department rooms.the quality of education they are providing is very effective for the cources in nitT.moreover basics are well taught in the first year so the base will be good throughout the cource
