Likes

The campus itself is very pretty and beautiful.
There are many activities going around all throughout the semester.
The clubs are all very inclusive and active.

Dislikes

The weather is pretty hot and can reach upto 45.
There is a bit if discrimination for non South Indians.
If you are north Indian you will miss your own food a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very versatile and one can choose their own courses and timelines. Electronics and Communication Department provides a very vast leading experience to its students and the laboratories.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very good, and hikes are very low considering to fees. There are some compulsory charges but only in the first semester and after that it is pretty much the same every semester. The college offers many scholarships too.

Campus Life

The campus is very pretty and well maintained. The infrastructure is old and well maintained. There is a computer lab and library in the campus which houses many books. There are a ton of technical clubs.

Admission

One has to give JEE mains examination to clear for this college. There are reservations for women, SCs, STs, OBCs and PWD people. The difficulty level of this exam is pretty high but still moderate. Exams are held twice a year.

Faculty

The faculty members are highly qualified individuals. Every proffesor has a different approach in their teaching but it is great nonetheless. The teachers quite friendly too and will help you out if you are in need.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
