For the first year, u will find the curriculum to be intrusting as we have a common curriculum for all department s and then based on your performance u might get a. A chance to change your stream but as for the professor, they are really good and interesting. Later it is a bit of research-driven not majorly. For mechanical the avg was 6.6 median was 6.5 and highest was 16.8 all in lpas highest being from hpcl one international offer from young optics for 13 LPA and many companies like Maruti, Honda, Bajaj, Tata, Godrej, and many more core companies came last year and this year along with these many consulting companies also came as ITC Infotech . for internship hero motocorp and Suez water supply came till yet

There a lot of events in our college if you are an event kind of a guy you have a good scope to nourish your skill in that department as there are regular fest in our college in almost every month starting from U-turn then Ibtida, few department fests, arena and greatest of all Sanskrit and u will be getting regular calls from students of IIT Kharagpur regarding diff kinds of workshop.

The best question to answer Fees for 4 years of b, tech curriculum is 10,400 and yes you heard it right and if u are poor with annual income less than 2.5 lakh u will get hostel also as it is a non-residential campus further if you don't get hostel monthly expense will be around 5-6 thousand

THERE IS A COUNSELLING PROCESS IN WHICH ALL APPLICANTS HAD TO APPLY WHICH STARTS FROM LAST WEEK OF JUNE TILL MID JULY FOLLOWED BY A MOPUP ROUND AND ONLY THOSE ARE APPLICABLE WHO HAD APPLIED IN COUNSELLING PROCESS WHICH HELD IN 2 LAST WEEK OF JULY AND LASTLY FOR JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY A SPECIAL ROUND WAS CONDUCTED TO FILL UP THE SEATS
