Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE [B.SC]
Reviewed on Feb 4, 2019

Remarks

The positive thing is that their fee is very cheap and anyone can afford. And scholarship program is good for some students. But on the negative side, there are no extra activities in our college. And the result is very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

It's good, if interested in science and wants to gain some knowledge and after graduation, there are many jobs opportunity like in a bank, lab assistant, teachers, clerk eg. But in simple B.Sc it's difficult to study Physics, chemistry, and math at a time. Where math syllabus is big. Fees structure, good. There is a semester exams system and I think it's better than the annual exams program. We give approximately nine paper during semester exams. But we have only four subjects. Physics, chemistry and math and the fourth one is a choice.

College Events

2

There is no celebration of any event in my college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college fee structure is feasible and good. You only pay annually fee near five thousand for the first year and four thousand per year for the last two years. I think it's good and very cheap compared to another college's fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are in SC/ST cast it gives you 14k INR annually that's good.

Campus Life

2

First, there are no extracurricular activities. Sports activities are rare like once in a year.

Hostel Facilities

1

There is no hostel in our college. So sorry you try to shift in PG near the college. Facilities are fine I don't call it good there is boy common room & playground area. There is only one building in our college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, alumni network and senior students are good they help you in some problems like book regarding and fighting with someone.

Admission

First, you need to fill the online form on CDLU website then. After a few days, you want to go to college with all your papers. After all form filling and submission, they give you a receipt of fee (maximum 5k INR) AND need to fill fee in bank.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty of our college is good.

Acharya Narendra Dev College - [ANDC], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Life Sciences)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
