Likes
- For everything in this college there's a systematic way to do it. It's very smooth to raise a complaint on rooms, electric work or anything. They also respond very quickly. I felt that's very nice for students, there are no problems at all.
- Lpu supports students to try anything new like startups or patents or so much more they encourage students alot.
- The teachers follow the syllabus and time it accordingly, the tests are also well planned.
Dislikes
- The intake for cse department is very huge and it's not a very nice thing, despite the fact that there are too many students they teach everything well
- Girls intime is 7:30 pm, after 7:30 girls can't roam in their campus which is restrictive.
- This is a pure veg campus, it might be tough for non veg lovers, but we do have one place for chicken in the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have many subjects like pel and pes to improve our communication skills and focuses on interview skills. They give us a lot of opportunities to show our talent or intership opportunities and many more. We have a lot of hackathons going on. We also have many great personalities interacting with us very often to share knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies give lpu students internship offers and according to the skill of the student they also offer the stipend. But you must maintain your CV and work very hard to get a very nice internship.
Placement Experience
We have a placement cell and a lot of companies visit lpu. So many big companies like Microsoft Google Flipkart Infosys and many more companies come for campus placements. The highest package of campus was 3 crores and on campus was 64 lakhs. After coming to the college it is purely based on your skill to get placed or not the campus gives enough opportunities for you to prove yourself. Almost every student gets placed in this college but the difference lies in the package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The original fee is 120000 but with a test called LPU nest we can score good and get a scholarship and the scholarship percentage depends on how will be score in the test. Most of the students gets scholarship here and on an average years original fees will be 84000. But that's just for CSE department. Compared to other colleges everything here is the cheaper even the hostels or the mess.
Campus Life
The college has a lot of clubs that organise a lot of events. We get to participate in events very often in this college. Every classroom we have as a projector and we also have a MAC lab and huge library with variety of books. LPU has a wide range of students from all over India so the events are also very fun and helps us understand each culture.
Admission
The eligibility of the test is you have to have more than 75% in your 12th boards to get into CSE department and also have to clear test called LPU nest which is entrance test for LPU and your scholarship will be awarded accordingly. There will be four rounds of test for LPU nest and we can give any attempt.
Faculty
A single classroom for cse department has 70 students on average. That means for each subject 1:70 is the teacher student ratio which sounds less but they actually focus on students. They are ready to teach them anytime without any problem. They are very supportive. They are also very experienced. Some are even PhDs.
