Course Curriculum Overview

The coding courses compelled me to choose this course. Also the variety of minors and additonal courses u can study.the curriculum helps to prepare for job interviews and group teamwork and etc. the timing of exams are early and there is a open book exam also as part of ur internals. there are 3 exams per semester in additional to lab exams

Internships Opportunities

various companies are offered for internship such as TCS, GOLDMAN SACHS,MICROSOFT. its necessary to apply for the internship in your 3rd year. A full semester is fully dedicated with credits to only internships

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees increase per year and it increases to a point where its a very drastic increase and there are a variety of scholarships for people who are in need of financial services. in summary, its very expensive to study at this college

Campus Life

there are two main festivals per year that is TECHNOVIT and VIBRANCE in VIT CHENNAI. both are fairly amazing and good artists are guaranteed to come for VIBRANCE. technovit is for showcasing clubs and showing the technical side of things.there is a very large range of books in the library and all sorts of books are available.there are a very good amt of smart classrooms in the campus

Admission

You have to reach in the top 1 lakh ranks in physics, chemistry and maths and aptitude in the VITEEE exam to apply for VIT CHENNAI or VIT VELLORE. The above ranks can go to AP or BHOPAL. the application form, fees, and application dates can be found on their website. the exams are fairly easy and easier than jee.

Faculty

Some are nice. some you have to butter them up to get marks. Overall they are nice and help you out In my first sem, I got nice teachers and they helped me a lot with exams and all but others I have heard are not helpful at all

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
