Course Curriculum Overview

5

The things influenced me to join this course are first of all the college is among the TOP 10 engineering colleges in india, the overall course reviews were also very positive. And the the main aspect of joining the average package after studying is very much comparing to some IITs also. The curriculum is also very strict, it teaches how to manage your own time while learning the extra skills, managing the hostel life, etc. Also, some of the fellow students are smarter than you, so you will get to learn from them and growth is surity. Also, the cycle tests happens in start of 2nd and 3rd month and the last month is the end semester exams. So, there is enough time to prepare for it. So, there would

4.5

After completing the course only you are eligible for campus placements. But if you done internship in a company and the company is impressed by your work so the pre-placed you in the company. After the course completion, you can join. Software companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. and reliance, Infosys, etc. around 150 companies comes including startups as well. Placements percentage are around 75-90 percent depending on department. My plans are for MBA abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is generally hike by 500-1000 rupees per 2 years. The cost of education includes the tution fees, the amenities cost(one time), the hostel fees and the expenditure of own. The calculation goes that the cost of whole 4 year course is around 8-10 lakhs. The amenities cost includes the medical expenses, the wifi, the other sports facilites and the fests which is around 50k which is one time. Talking about the financial aids, they provide a 2/3rd tution fees remission for family income under 5LPA, and whole tution fee remission for under 1LPA. Other is you can apply for an education loan from bank which itself in the college. Scholarship opportunities is less but you can explore and can apply( i haven't applied.) For B.tech students you can apply for paid internships, you can do freelancing on the basis your skill knowledge, even there is a teaching club here, which helps you in developing teaching skills, so that you can teach students online and earn.

Even the pragyan is a one of biggest technical fests of india.Festember helds in october, aaveg in march, pragyan also in march, nittfest in april. There 22 boys and 6 girls hostel here. The Hostel facilities includes wardrobe, bed per resident. 2 fans and 2 tubelight per rooms. Admission

Eligibility of the course is that you should have appeared in the jee mains examination and you should have secured 75 percent in your 12th. You can apply for admission through the jossa/csab counselling process. The cuttoff for the all courses are very high which is 25k for general and 40-45k for obc and under 1lakh for sc/st students. The application process starts after the jee advanced examination which generally helds in june. The jee mains examination is bit tough you have to prepare for 2 or more years for it. The admission process is perfect, you should consult some experienced before applying.

Faculty

4

There are around 250 faculties including assistant profs, profs, HOD's, and deans. They are highly qualified even from iits and other nits, and foreign colleges also. The teaching, the infrastructure and the study culture is also good. Yeah, some profs would be there which you will not like but yeah some are to chill and helpful also. The semester here is too short like only 55 to 60 working days per semester(4 months), so it is very chill and in the even semester most of fests organized(so more chill.) Overall, you will feel that it is chill.
