Course Curriculum Overview

It's perfect. The course is very much job oriented and all the curriculum we are provided is very relevant. And as a student, we enjoy ourselves a lot and learn a lot that's all I want to say.

Class Size: 21Course Fees: INR 81020 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good but may be costly for some people. The fees is 81020 rupees for the first year and 78000 for last year and i can say it is value for money. Assam university have there own placement cell. And MBA department also have the same.

Campus Life

Assam university campus environment is very very good as the university belongs to assam the surrounding is with lush greenery and calm and asthmatic as a student you will definitely enjoy a lot of your campus life.

Admission

Currently for a student wo want to join MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management in Assm University he or she need to appear in CUET PG after graduation and he or she must have score 60 percent in graduation.

It's very good and all the faculty members are very much friendly and helpful all the time. The teacher-to-student ratio is also very good. I suggest students to enroll in the MBA in hospitality and tourism management at Assam University

The curriculum that are done are not for MBA students like drawing dance competition they are not meant for us these things will never prepare ourselves for real world applications Instead they can do gk competition business plan debates etc Exam time table is to be rectified

Overall experience was good.

Placement Experience:

The placement at college was good. The maximum package offered was 12.5 by Federal Bank and the mimimum was 2.5 by ICIC bank. The average package was 5.5. I got a placement offer from Collegedunia and I am very happy to got placed.

A look at TU for MBA program

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

My MBA journey at Assam Institute of Management

Placement Experience:

From the second year, our campus placements had begun some of the companies are as follows. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Asian Paints, Federal Bank, HDFC AMC, Vishal Mega Mart, etc. The highest package was around 7.5 lakh and the average was around 3 4 lakh. Only 3 or 5 students didn't get placed and some opted out for placements to pursue their entrepreneur journey.

MBA in Tezpur University during Pandemic

Placement Experience:

In our 2 year full time MBA proggramme students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. Many reputed companies like Airtel, Coca-Cola, American Express takes part in the placement. The average package offered by the companies is 4-5 lacs Per Annum. Above 90% of the students of our department gets placed at the end of the course.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 3rd semester, Companies like Amazon, Baja fin, Bandhan, Axis, ICICI etc are prime recruiters. Sometimes university organizes placement events with other universities jointly. I have not completed my course so I cant share my own placement experience.

The Assam university in a nutshell

This is the only collage i got through the JOSAA counselling i applied to many collage including the collage in near my locality but i didnt got any of them because of my low jee rank . the admission process was easy after the JOSAA allotment i cam to collage and regestred the copy of physical documets and got the admission confirmation . there was no additional exam involed just thejee rank is taken after allotment i didnt have to give any other exams or interview....Read More

i applied to many collages including nit and other collages and in multiple branches in JOSAA and CSAB but this collage is the only option i got so i chose this collage . The admission was pretty straight forward students got through JOSAA or CSAB came to the collage on conselling day and submitted the required document which incuded the * 12th marks sheet * 10th mark sheet , * caste cetificate * Income certificate * 3 passport size photos * Anti ragging certificate ( made by a lawyer ) and any other basic required document inculing the coulselling result print out with the paid amount document .there is also spot addmission if seates are left and it is avaliable for various catagory student from different states ....Read More
