Remarks

Overall college is really good with good infrastructure and facilities like canteen, football, tennis, basket ball, cricket. I rate my college 3. 5/5. Only bad remark is that they impose and collect heavy FINES from students.

Entrance Preview

At the time of my admission there is no particular entrance exam to attend so I got admission based on +2 percentile. Whereas from past 3 years they are conducting entrance exam in the name of HITSEEE. Which will be useful to get admission. As the college is known good for aeronautical engineering from past few decades I decided to join here and did so.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

They made very good curriculum to access which will be useful in further level. They made a foreign language elective to choose from either JAPANESE, GERMAN AND FRENCH. Final semester will be of 3 semesters along with project to be done.

Internships Opportunities

No, Hindustan university doesn't provide any internships we have go on ourselves searching for internships and have to approach companies. But college helps in recommending internships and any workshops going on in and out the country.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are really good for CSE, AUTOMOBILE, EEE, ECE. Where as for AERO groups it's fast less with mere 4-5 core companies.

College Events

3.5

There will be separate fest (e. g. - ALBEDO for AERO) for each group every year along with YARONA fest for whole college once in a year. In these tests we will be allowed to meet with different students from different colleges through out Chennai.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure Will be around 1. 8L (scholarships excluded). Scholarship will be given up to 75% for those who excelled in sports and +2 exams with 90% and more. For those who did well in admission test will be given more priority in giving scholoarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship will be given up to 75% for those excelled in sports and +2 exams with 95%. For those who did well in admission test will be given more priority in giving scholoarships.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

U get 2, 3, 4 sharing rooms A/C or Non-A/C based on your expesitions. Food is really good with both seperate VEG and NON-VEG sections. Security will be provided 24 hours and 365 days. Out laws will be given to those wants to go out but should be back by 8

Alumni/Alumna

I say college has RAGGING-FREE environment and seniors are very Good in interaction with juniors.

Exam Structure

Exams structure is really good with 2 internals each will be commenced at a span of 45 days each (counting Saturday's and Sundays) and 1 moel test along with semester exams at the end of semester regularly.

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
