- The academic section is one of the best here with great laboratories and skills lab and has an attached hospital which is 700+ beds with wide variety of cases for good hands on experience
- The infrastructure in the campus is modern and well equipped with new aged technology and everyone prefers to use that in education
- The campus is very huge spread across acres of land
Dislikes
- The only problem here is transportation because reaching the campus is a big issue. If you have a car it’s better to travel here
Course Curriculum Overview
The main emphasis here is on curriculum and it is kept well in mind and lectures, demonstration and clinics all are arranged well in time table keeping everthing in mind. Since the clinics taken are amazing which gives you a real life correlation with your subjects which makes understanding very easy. All the exams conducted are of great standards with 1 mid term exam, and prelims followed by the final university exams
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunity you get here is one of the best with a world class hospital facilities you find. You get to learn all the basic skills required as an intern. The teaching is going to be amazing for you.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is such that every year the fees has to be paid in Cheque/DD and the fee is the same for all the years. The current fees for the college is approximately 11lakhs/yr and that is so for 5 year i.e 11lakhs*5=55 lakhs for 5yrs course. Since the hostel and mess facilty is good plus accommodation around the area is not very feasible so it is recommended to stay in campus with hostel fees being approx 1.2-1.5 lakhs/yr and mess fees being 1lakh/yr with food availability for breakfast/ lunch/snacks/dinner
Campus Life
There are various clubs which students can be a part of related to medicine specifically. A lot of other groups like book club/poetry club can also be found. The Annual fest takes place around February/March every year with side events for students to take part in. The college has an excellent sports team like football/basketball/throwball and cricket.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilty is one of best that you can find with 3 people sharing one room with attached washroom and shared balcony between two rooms. The hostel comes with 1 table/1 chair/1 bed with mattress and pillow with lights and fans in the room. The food is catered by Sodexo which a world renowned catering brand. Its preferred to stay in the hostel since accommodation elsewhere is not at par.
Admission
The admission process is smooth so after your NEET UG you can expect the cut off to be approximately 530-540 for open and subsequently for reservations candidates. There are schemes for EWS category students as well. Plus scholorships for students whose financial yearly income is <8 lakhs PA.
Faculty
The faculty here is amazing and very approchable. The faculty to student ratio is also great with almost 10-20 faculty per subject which brings it to 1 faculty per 15 studnets. All the teachers here are very well versed with their subjects and have great teaching experience.
