Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum in VIT definitely follows UGC guidelines but it's of no use in practical environment which is full of competency and skills . They just follow the curriculum blindly irrespective of providing the students the real skills that are required for the placement. Placement studies are to be done by one's own self .

Internships Opportunities

2.5

The institute focus on getting internship opportunities before placement for better resume building. They do provide some internship opportunities with stipends . Further they also industrial certification courses and projects for credit completion.

Placement Experience

3

As the institute claims 100% placement guarantee, it's not like that there are Many pre conditions and restrictions and grabbing up the placement, if in case one doesn't get any job offer till the end of the placement drive , they have to do a capstone project to complete their credits and get the degree. After then they may still get connected to VIT alumni network and find any suitable jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a scholarship opportunities that are some programs but most evidently the fee structure is divided into categories ranging from 2 lacs to 5 lacs per annum as fees . Students having higher ranks in VITEEE get lower category and that's considered as a scholarship on merit basis .

Campus Life

3.5

VIT University offers a variety of clubs and chapters for social engagement and enhancing personal development skills. The campus life of VIT is pretty decent if one gets a good company. There is one annual and one technical fest known as Riviera and Gravitas . Beyond this there is always some activities going on in the campus for the participation.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facilities available are fine . As per the preference and budget one can opt for AC or Non -Ac rooms . The mess food has a great and diverse variety but the taste won't suit much to the north Indians especially. Hostel facilities are though affordable as compared to other institutions. One can only live as day scholar in case of parents livin' as localite there .

Admission

The admission process is not very transparent at VIT. People often have doubts on their ranks and score as per their merit and also the allocation of categories is not transparent so u may never know what are you going to get there.

Faculty

2

Definitely, the faculty members are very well qualified but that doesn't guarantee a good mentorship for the students studying in there . They lack some proper teaching skill and some are even partial on their natives and language.

Other Applied Colleges

SRM Institute of Science and Technology - [SRMIST] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

High fee structure and low placement than VIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
