What Students Say

Likes

Environment, opportunity, course, campus

Dislikes

Location ,strictness , teachers sometimes speak in Tamil

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science provides the most number of opportunities in India and though it's hard I was always interested in coding and the teachers too are respectful and help you whenever needed maybe the way they conduct exams could be improved though

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships are mandatory in 3rd year and the college does help you in getting internships but most of the students get it through internshala or various other websites as it's easier and not everyone gets an internship through college

Placement Experience

Students are eligible after 5th sem and it's done through an app there are many companies on the app but it's not necessary that every company selects a student avg package stands around 8-9 and the highest I've heard has gone to Deepanshu

Fees and Financial Aid

There is reservation and the fees is 250000 or 450000 depending on the campus and the hostels are quite expensive at some even being priced around 300000 for a year so the college comes out to be quite expensive but the placements aren't bad and eduction is an investment anyways

Campus Life

There are fests like Aarush and Texus which take place every year and students get to be a part of the organising committee too there are multiple clubs with many opportunities and grounds for sports as well

Admission

You need atleast 60% aggregate in pcm in 12th and need a few other documents like school leaving certificate and a few transcripts but other than that it was pretty straightforward and simple the seat selection process was quite easy too

Faculty

4.5

The teachers are quite qualified all of them are PHDs I mean at the end of the day you're responsible for your studies in any college. The college is crowded but you get your fair share of chances to stand out

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence.
