Course Curriculum Overview
The BA in history and Political science is highly relevant and comprehensive .It influenced my decision due to blend of historical analysis and political theory,and very useful if preparing for government exams like UPSC and PSCs Exmas are conducted fairly and no big issues if attendance is low if you attend just 3 classes a week that will be enough its quite good in aspect of attendance than othet DU college.
Internships Opportunities
The college provide various internship opportunities with the start-ups, the start-ups directly pros to the college for internship. The major internships Companies includes , different chartered accountants, With Zomato with the start-ups and other working professionals in sales
Placement Experience
College placement cell is too active and helping students in their placemnets.Companies like HCL,Wipro ,Zomato,HDFC Bank, SBI and startup came to offer jobs the average salary is around 400000. And the maximum salary reached year back is around 800000 per annum through campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the college includes all the type of fees except Examination fees are 6800 per annum with 10% increase as of now. And examination fees of 510 rupees. The college provides various scholarship opportunities for the needy and backward students must check the scholarship section in the college website for scholarship updates.
Campus Life
My campus life was vibrant like annual among all the colleges of the DU The most important thing about the First in every DU College, it was open for all the due students without any restrictions and to not buy any pass to enter in fests. There is various estimating sports drama societies who performs acts and participate in various events of the universities.
Admission
When i took admission it was dine on the merit basis of class 12 marks but now it is done through CUET(UG) National level exam in which you have to fill preference of the college and selecting the required subjects as per exam need(provided by the NTA itself). The cuttof for this college usually goes with 600 for general Candidates and 580 for OBC.
Faculty
The faculty at my college are highly qualified often with advanced degrees from prestigious institutions like JNU, AMU and from International Universities, creating a rich academic environment faculty to student ratio is around 40:1 Professors use various teaching methods and maintain regular office hours.They gives you knowledge beyond classroom in every aspects of life.
