Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is very well organized with clearly laid out course handouts which elucidate the reasoning and learning outcomes from each part of the syllabus. It makes the student pay even more attention to the course when they know why they are studying that particular topic and how it helps them in the long run. The timing of exams is regular enough to keep the student healthily occupied with academics but not so hectic that there is no room for other activities. Skills that you learn via the curriculum form the base for what you will be applying in real-life projects and internships.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Internships start from second year onwards. You get opportunities for internships during the semester break. The college also provides internships in the 3rd year which can be converted to a PPO(Pre Placement Offer).

Placement Experience

3.5

Campus placements start from 4th year(7th and 8th semester). The exact details are provided by CGDC(Career Guidance and Development Centre). The highest CTC in 2021-22 was 33.6 LPA. The average CTC in 2021-22 was 8.51 LPA and the placement percentage was 97%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is transparent and openly accessible via the BML website. For a BTech hosteller without a scholarship, the fee(hostel+tuition) is 5 lakhs per annum(2+3). I am on a Dean's scholarship for academic excellence basis my JEE percentile of 91.3. It is a 100% scholarship on tuition fees. Apart from the 100% scholarship, there are multiple options available which range from 5-10% to 50% and 75-100%. The scholarships are given on a first come first serve basis so apply at the earliest convenience. Criteria and types of scholarships are available on the website as well.

Campus Life

5

The club culture at BMU is a great way to spend your time productively, it's always active with one or the other event taking place all the time. It is a very happening place to be in and there is a lot to learn. It is a great icebreaker for networking with seniors and batchmates alike. It makes being on campus so much more interesting and the exposure you get is super helpful. The library has just been expanded and it is super clean and pretty. You can book cabins for group study sessions and projects or study alone in isolated carrels.

Hostel Facilities

5

I live in a triple-sharing apartment. We get our own balcony and a living room with 2 sofas, a center table, a sink, kitchen cabinets, a microwave, and a mini fridge. We also get our own bathroom with 2 showers, 2 basins and 2 toilets. The apartment has 3 rooms so the facilities are shared among 9 people. There is a water cooler right outside and a washing machine as well. The mess is included as part of the hostel fees. My hostel fees are 2LPA.

Admission

The admission process is very well-defined and procedural. There is clear communication via mail and an admissions counselor is assigned to each student to guide them along the way. BMU conducts BMUSAT but it is optional. You get better scholarship opportunities via your JEE score.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 60:1 in BTech, and even lesser in law, management, and liberal studies. Many of the faculty live on campus and even those that don't make it a point to set aside time for personal queries and guidance. You can always reach out to them and speak freely and they are more friendly rather than strict professional figures. They make managing academic stress so much easier and are always willing to push deadlines for valid reasons.

Interview Experience

5

No, there wasn't any interview as such. The criteria for admission is passing your 12th examination. You can apply for admission via the BMU website and the admissions cell reaches out to you very quickly.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.
