Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum provides students with the information and knowledge and skill they need to face the real world situation and prepared them for success outside the classroom. It connects theoretical and practical divided generating meaningful learning experience

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I don't know much about internship but yaa campus provides many internship opportunities like working with industrialists or in call centres may be . My classmate are doing internship with many stipends

Fees and Financial Aid

The thing which I found in Delhi University most friendly is the fees because fees is very less average 17-18 thousand but if we talk about complete cost of education then it would be approx 6-7 lakh just for 3 years because living cost is too high govt should do something to make it cost friendly for students who are not from delhi. College provides fees concession not any other scholarship as I know.

Campus Life

4

I have not much experience about the campus????but yaa there is more enjoyment then studies too many fests and events of societies in the college itself and in other colleges. Overall it's good . Infrastructure is not good of my college not a big ground , not having ac in classes, no clean water, not good food of canteen

Admission

Admission process has become very complex dur to cuet from filling its form to getting admit card on time and then we need to fill DU's CSAT form separately then providing preference and so many other things but I guess admission process should be simple. Irrespective of these cons , this process provides equal opportunity to all the students of India . Exams are also of moderate level nor very easy neither hard

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members are good at interaction with students, but only in class If we need their help or want to ask something to them at calls or messages they don't reply ???? otherwise they are PhD holders , have good knowledge about the topic

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
