Entrance Preview
I choose VIT because it is one of the colleges which is in the top 15 best university rankings. In vit nice infrastructure and good placements. All lectures are done Ph.D. and they have very well experience in teaching. Everything in a practical way. Nice environment to study
Course Curriculum Overview
Before applying to the course I saw the curriculum on vit website, there I saw which subjects I want to study in this course. At the time of counseling, they explained the curriculum what I want to study. I want to complete the 250 credits within the 5 years
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I want to do an internship in the holidays, it is compulsory in my curriculum. Now I am in the 3rd year. May next year I will do an internship
Placement Experience
When coming to placements and job opportunities, vit has recorded about placements. In 2018, the first time in vit, Microsoft company selected some students by giving packages 39 lakhs per annum. some companies are giving more than 10 lakhs. 11 lakhs Upto till now placements are good in vit.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Based on the courses in the vit university the fees may vary. For my course m.tech integrated software engineering it is around 1,60,000 rs. Here the fees are very expensive. It is difficult for my parents to pay for money. For 1 arrear we want to pay 6000 rs
Fees and Financial Aid
They will give scholarships of around 10,000 for one year if u satisfy their conditions. the conditions are 1. Attendance should not be less than 75 2. No arrears 3. Annual income less than 1 lakh Loan facility available based on the bank
Campus Life
When coming to campus life, very good. There is no gender ratio. Here different students are studying from different states and countries. They are providing extracurricular activities also. Some students conducting the workshop about robotics, coding, etc
Hostel Facilities
I am a day scholar. But my friends are staying in a hostel. They said that mess food is somewhat nice. They will put veg items for vegetarians and non-veg for non-vegetarians. They will allow the rooms as per student choice based on student CGPA.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no ragging. It is a ragging free campus. We can interact with senior students for clarifying doubts also. It is helpful
Exam Structure
When coming to the exam structure, an exam is not easy when comparing to other colleges or universities, they will conduct cat-1(continuous assessment test),cat-2, Fact. In cat -1 and cat -2 they will ask the hot question which means that they will ask an indirect question. In fact 50 % hot and other normal
