Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very comprehensive and follows old system. however interenship opportunity would be provided by the college .It can be improved by adding more practial aspect rather than the theoritical . Exams are conduced twice for semester with 2 hrs and 3 hrs timming mid-term and annual respectively
Placement Experience
After 6 semesters students are eligible to sit in the placements. The company usually comes in the 7th or 8th semester for placement. Companies including Jp morgan Chase, amazon, and Microsoft come usually and more than 1000 offers were made last year 92% of students were placed with an average package of 12.89 lakhs per annum with the highest package of 54.5 LPA. the company not only offered a tech profile but also offered to consult one. I will sit for the placement session and try to grab a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees incresed per year by 5-10% amount. for 2027 passout batch it is 1891000/-. However scholarshps have been provided for students who scored top 100 ranks in entrance exam will get 100% scholarshi and apart from that top 5% of each class will get 20% scholaship . Apart from that various internship are available which gives stipend to students in their particluar domain.
Campus Life
overall experience is really good at manipal as it also have NSS and NCC organisation apart from that college conduct tech fest called TECHTATVA and cultural fest called REVELS. library are fully occupied by books and classrooms have projector to display the slides and presentation . Sports facilities are really outstanding having football, cricket, hockey ground and Tennis court. Also students run various group to help each other and have great community
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are well occupied with furniture and have air conditioner. Mess facility are provided to students which includes four meals breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner having both north indian and south indian food. hostel are littile bit expensive there are many available rental pg near the college campus itself in the Manipal. .
Admission
Eligibility includes more than 50% aggregate marks in maths and physics and securing a good rank in the MET examination. you can find all the details at www.manipal.edu here. No reservation policy is the best thing in college. MET exams are conducted twice best of one will be taken to count the rank, it is 2 hrs exam that includes physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English.
