Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this particular subject because I liked political science when I was in 12th grade the subject matter had interested me a lot to study further about it , although the curriculum is still very traditional in DU but it teaches our fundamentals in this subjects
Placement Experience
From 2nd year we can do internships and from 3rd we are eligible for campus placement, some of the companies are Wipro, Gt, TCS , which offers around 3-7 lakh/annum and the highest package was of 21lakh from our college, around 200-300 students gets placed every year. My plans are different because I want to due civil services as my passion
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution rises at a very slow rate as it's a govt institutions, but many scholarships are provided for the needy and meritorious students some are organised by college and some by university even the placement cell is very active
Campus Life
Our college organises local fests each year in around oct- nov , where various performances are done by students of our college and other DU colleges, many games are organised. Our library is a top notch one where almost all academic journals, books are available. The sports and extracurricular activities are also average.
Admission
The admission process was through a complete centralised portal named csas where we had to prefer our college as well as courses . We can easily find the form in the DU website which is the only authentic source . To fetch admission in this college we have to undertake cuet entrance test and accordingly we will get admission. Some of the improvement in the admission process can be that many times glitch occurs in the csas which can be technically solved
Faculty
Our college has a good faculty system where experienced faculties are there and the ratio the class room is around 1: 40 , the method Is more practical but the curriculum is still very traditional, teachers are very interactive
