Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course itself is very updated, so the college follows the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University syllabus however, it's very outdated in some subjects. The rest of the curriculum was practical and more towards practical exposures and industrial visits. The exam frequency was 6 months, as one semester used to last for the same period.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship opportunities were also very limited, so if one wants to go for any particular they would have ask for the reference to the placement cell. In my case, the internships that I've done were all from my own sources or through LinkedIn and internshala.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for our course was around 1.15 lacs per year, though the fees are increasing every year so it may differ or would have increased by now for the 2024-25 session. The annual fee included all the other charges service fees and others. However, on opting for the library card you need to pay an extra amount to avail books which is around 5000

Campus Life

3.5

The campus experience was upto the mark, there were multiple society for students to join. While, the infrastructure and crowd was also very good and various events were organised very frequently. However, there very limited sports events during the entire college.

Admission

The eligibility criteria require a student to have passed their 12th examination with a minimum eligibility mark of 60% and need to apply through the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha website/ admission portal. The application fees at that time were around 1200 it may have increased, the entrance exam is CUCET after which your ranks and entrance score are combined to provide you with ranks, then cut-offs are released as per the eligibility, and rank one can take admission in the college you are eligible.

Faculty

4

The faculty & student ratio was fine, considering 5-6 faculty members for 60 students in each class. All the faculty member were highly qualified, having PhD scholars, impressive credentials and years of experiences in education. Student & teacher interaction were quite regulars, the feedbacks and other doubts regarding the teaching were shared quite often.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the campus placement after their 3rd - 4th semester. The highest package we got is about 300000 annually. As most of the students get placed in very good companies. After getting this degree I'm going to work in this field as I'm interested in video editing.

Remarks:

Our higher management was very strict and unnecessary non enthusiastic and were not open to experimentation. Our college would invest less on improvising more on increasing fees. No provision of hostel made it worst. The cource offered were good and unique but everything else was average

The teaching and the education part of this college is really appreciable and very useful. People are helpful and take interests in your issues bad the major pit fall of the organisation is the infrastructure and the locality. It is located in a very low area and surrounds are very bad.
