Likes

Infrastructure of the campus is very huge like it took me 12 min from my hostel to my class.
The events are good like they invite many famous singer and have a car and bike show every year
The support we got for the lpu is pretty good coz like if we had any problem we can report it at ums and it will be solved in 2 working days

Dislikes

The mess food of my current mess is not that much good
Like there’s no restrictions for the dogs so like they can came in your room if you dont look it
The temperature of this area is very hot in summer and very cold in winter

Course Curriculum Overview

I dont have any particular idea fro it but there are many students in btach so i also have interest in it so I choose it. So the curriculum prepare us well for the real life application by doing the practical work. Teachers should be little flexible with the time! The 1st ca is esay as compare to the other two.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know about the company that roles offer for intenship but you can have off campus internship by have multiple connections in college like with faculties and have connections with the student that got a good amount of placement.

Placement Experience

It depends on the students so if he had a cgpa of 9+ so from 2-3rd year only he can do internship and further join as a employee. There are many companies that visit campur every year like google,microsoft,Facebook ect. The highest package of the campus is 64 lacks,the average is 6to7 lpa. So if you have the proper attendance and have a cgpa of 7.5+ you can get placed My plan is to do job with comfortable environment and good package

Fees and Financial Aid

My current pr semester fee is 112000 that doesn't include hostel and mess I pay a total fee of 3.5 lacks including mess that is of 50000 and hostel that cost me 90000 I also got a scholarship by give a test called lpu nest and got a scholarship of 28000 pr semester

Campus Life

They host the hackathon for students and have many tech related activities. So the Library of campus is huge and have every single book that you're going to need for your studies and there are totel of 5 floors. The sports cariculam is good if you represent them at state level and if you win so you'll got a good scholarship.

Hostel Facilities

In my room there is a coller with 4 bed , 4study table and 4 almora The quality of for is good but the menu is same all the days So if you book the hostel with early banifit you get a discount of 10000 and the total fee will be 80000.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

So i can apply to parul university and got a confirm seat through my jee result and I choose this college because is this college my brother was also studying. I haven't applie for any other university. The admission process is to give a scholarship test that is lpu nest and you should have atleast 300/500 marks in your 12th class

The faculty are good and supportive The python ma'am of mine is very supportive like she helps me a lot The maths teacher...coz it you get late even a min he will make you absent There are total 4 exam in a semester ca1,ca2,ca3 and mid term

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
