Course Curriculum Overview

2

There is no specific aspects that made me to choose this course. I chose it by myself as I am interested in medical field. As of now it didn't prepare me anything for real world applications. The faculties should be changed for a better improvement in the course. There is no proper time to study for exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Am pursuing B Tech Bio Technology in Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute. Yearly I pay about 80k for tuition fees. And there is no charges during the course completion. My benchmates pay about 90k per year without any scholarships. I don't know any name of the scholarship.

Campus Life

0.5

There is no annual or technical festivals held over here. We have never celebrated anything in this college. Facilities are okay in the classroom but there is no smart room in class. For sports they prefer only TNCA players and they do not give chance to players like us who plays in coaching. There is no proper extracurricular activities occurred on campus. Some people run clubs but there is no good impact on that

Admission

I applied in srm and hindustan college but the tuition fees was so high so I couldn't go there. Here the tuition fees was too low when compared to other colleges so I chose here. But now am hesitating like why did I join over here? Pls don't join in Dr. MGR College. Such a worst experience. Admission process is so simple and there is no exams for admission

Faculty

2.5

So the faculty to student ratio is 1:35, which is very poor to the coreee. Dr. AG Srinivasan is the best faculty i hv ever seen in this college. The way he teaches and speaks are like a professional person. Kalpalatha reddy is the worst faculty, she always scolds like hello no matter what she never hesitates to scold. There are 3 revision exams and one sem exam. All the exams are easy as they provide the important questions before the exams. Maximum 10 students per class fail to clear the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
