VIT, VELLORE , B. Tech curriculum is highly revelances and comprehensive, with a strong pratical focus and industry alignment. However, it could improve by integrating more real world projects and reducing lecture heavy teaching

Campus Life

Campus life at VIT college is vibrant with festivals like riviera(february) andgravitas (September) . The library is well stocked, classrooms are well tech equipped , sports, clubs and groups are enrich with students

Admission

I choose VIT college for its excellent faculty, pratical curriculum and strong industry ties. I applied to llTs and NITs but couldn't secure a seat for high competition. Admission through straight forward, with moderate cutoff and the process was smooth

Faculty

Balance ratio faculties are approachable and supportive. Dr. A. B singh for clear explanation in data structure. Prof E. F sharma his lecture is heavy style was Disengaging. Semester based with core subjects, praticles, electives and exams include continuoses assessment, mind terms and finals Most students passed with low failure rate

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
