Course Curriculum Overview

4

This curriculum has the last 2 years of my study in RMIT Melbourne , that played a manjor role in me choosing this course. Curriculum prepares you vrry well for the real world , industry's need and also develops ur personality in the process

Internships Opportunities

4

The intership is names as Practice School here, the internship opportunity is alloted based on the Cgpa of the candidate , it depends on the talent of the candidate basically. Stipend goes to maximum of around 60k rupees

Placement Experience

4

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Top companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft visit our campus. Im not aware of the no of offers made but the number is pretty high. Avg Package for CSE is around 25LPA, almost 81% placed this year. My plan is to start a start up after getting my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The first 2years i will being paying 8lakhs per year as tution fees. Rs.57,100 is the admission fee and there is no such development fee or lab fee so far. There is no reservations and also no management quota. All my bits-rmit batchmates fee is same. Merit cum need scholarship is awarded based on CGPA

Campus Life

4.5

There are many major fests like Spree(sports fest), Waves(cultural fest), Quark(technical fest) and many more. The library has pretty much evry book you need. Sports and extra curricular activities will also go hand in hand with the academic curriculum. There are many student clubs which are the top clubs in the nation , even in the world

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are good, the room has a cupboard, rack , whiteboard, study table and a chair. Hostel meal quality is pretty good, only complain is there could have been few more south indian dishes. Registration for hostel process is compulsory for almost everyone .

Admission

Bits-rmit program is one of the flagship eductional program in thd country in which you get certificates from both RMIT and BITS Pilani. I gave my jee advanced too but then i didnt do well to get a nice seat, so i joined this program thru BITSAT, cut-off for this particular program is pretty low due to its cost

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio is good . Faculties are chill with the students. Himadri Mukherjee sir , who takes PandS is best. Quiz , midsem , compre are the diff exams here, they're pretty difficult to get a good cgpa

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too
