The way everything is organised and the way teachers are interacting with the students is something which is very supportive environment
Encouraging new innovative idea's which leads to good usage of real life applications
Environment and nature surrounding the college is something which is very beautiful and pleasant

Dislikes

The food is somewhat different from other states food
The climatic conditions may not be suitable for everyone

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is designed in a such way that the practical learning comes more into use and the way the question papers are made by most experienced teachers and professor's help think practically and they are much more useful at times where we need them the most

Placement Experience

There are good opportunities for placements in our college they come at a regular basis and start right after your third year, sometimes during third year. Many of the students get decent amount of placement and there is even scope for doing master's with students exchange program offered by the college

Fees and Financial Aid

We will be paying 3 lakhs per year excluding hostel fee,if you want to stay in hostel it takes upto 70k per year,it doesn't increase with time being. The total tution fee for ECE in amrita for the entire course will be 12lakhs

There are many club's in the college which deal with the social issues around and there is club called SSR student social responsibility in the which the students should form a group and do something innovative and helpfull to the society and present the same in college and implement that in the real life and there there many more technical clubs for study purposes and there are even clubs like bios,amfoss used for technical strength

Admission

The first and foremost reason for applying this college is because of the availability of the oppurities and good discipline and one of my cousins have recommended who have been placed after studying in this campus

There are totally 2 exam's per semester one is the periodic or mid term and the other one the semester examination apart from them we have monthly quizzes,classtest and viva.the Mark's patter is 60 is the internals and 40 is the end semester examination.

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
