It has 3 exams in one semester. The first one is cat1, conducted for 50 marks. Then cat 2, which is an open book test for 50 marks. Then the final test, fat for 100 marks. Each cat has a weightage of 15 percent and fat a weightage of 40 percent. The rest 30 percent is of the assignments.

I read about the exam date on the site. It was an online exam. You could choose your slots i.e. time and date in the given span of days according to your convinces. It was an online test. After the results come, according to your rank you are allotted the branches and you have to either be there or nominate someone to be present in the admission process.
