Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is quite easy. If you were preparing for IIT in past years then the course curriculum is going to be super easy as most of the syllabus of the first semester gets covered into the JEE syllabus. I had asked senior about the syllabus of the following years and they had adviced me that it is going to be easy if could give a little amount of time to studies.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides internship but that is not lucrative like internships that are provided in BTech. Most of the students don't opt for the internship. But the students who apply for internship gets internship easily and earns a fair amount of money.

Placement Experience

3

As I previously mentioned that most of the students don't opt for placement as they are more interested in doing higher studies. So only a few people apply for placements and get Jobs easily with a package of 7-8 lakh per month.

College Events

4.5

There are many fest and events which are organized in our college. All the departments get opportunities to organize fest and events for their department. The college organizes its annual fest Leothrixx which is quite average. Although stars like Hardy Sandhu had performed in the fest when he was not this famous.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. Almost all the honor courses have fees less than 10000 per year. Only BSc (h) computer science which is the most expensive course charges 23000 per year so it can be observed that it is quite economical to study here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides various scholarships to children who are not able to afford fees. Students are made aware of the scholarship at the start of the odd semester although I don't know the name of the scholarships name almost all the fees of the student gets compensated under the scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Some labs are very good but some are not up to the mark. all labs contain all the equipment needed for it but they lack maintained. The computer science lab is the most maintained lab. The ground is very small it is comparable to the school ground.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The college doesn't provide hostel facility which is the biggest con as every student has to find a pg, which doesn't meet the need of Students. The student union has been demanding hostel for quite a few time. But college has always denied that demand by saying that they are making the new building at different locations which will have a hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Don't know about the almuni network but yes seniors are very helpful they provide help for all the activities. They provide help for almost everything you could ask for especially for girls. They helped me a lot in my studies.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is quite good. They are well planned in the future at the start of the semester. We get the date sheet in the first month of the semester due to which we get a fair amount of time for preparation. Exams are well spaced for different curriculum and different courses.

Admission

First of all, I registered on the du website in may then after 1 month du showcased its merit list. I wasn't able to clear the merit list of my favorite colleges. So I waited for the second cut off then also I didn't qualified for my favorite colleges. Then I had to satisfy myself with this college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is good. Almost all of the teachers have completed a doctorate. All the teachers in our department have completed a doctorate and they let us understand quite complex problems simply.

Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
