Few rules like boys shouldn't speak with girls at any time and punishing students by asking them to stand outside the block under trees as OD punishment and asking parents to come for small mistakes are to be minimized, except for these issues everything else is positive about the college.

Entrance Exam

It was a very good course, though we were one of the first batches to pass out with that degree, practical knowledge gained was fair enough even though lab equipment was very costly and time consuming to acquire.

Nothing like course internship but before joining in course one may get a discount on the admission fee and college fee based on their merit, after joining we get may feature like free courses in computers, various foreign languages, etc.

Excellent placement and opportunity for a few courses, but few courses have restricted placement options due to the nature of course, but even they are provided with a good opportunity to learn and attend a few interviews.

So many events like NCC day, Cultural day, hostel day, sports day and all festivals are celebrated with high enthusiasm with the cheif guest being well noted scientists, movie artists and sports personalities who are role models for so many students.

It's a bit expensive but because the standards are good fees tens to he expensive, compared to other highly rated institutes the fee structure is a bit better for few courses and very high for few, it is totally based on the course offered.

They do support the bright and needful students by reducing the fees and giving an option of paying in smaller amounts, the scholarship is totally from outside sources and they do honor those and even students are encouraged for those.

Excellent facilities, u can find all the sports both exterior and interior available in the campus, the library is well equipped with both books and digital media, computer labs are free for anyone and interested students can learn good course free of cost, they support sportspersons a lot by offering them a good career.

Excellent facilities in the hostel, the food is very good with a wide variety of dishes which are very tasty and hygienic, there is no limit to the food we can have, even hostels are well maintained with facilities like gym hot water, wifi, library, television and all kind of sports are provided.

Yes, they are helpful, though the students are very large in number they do help out them, the college has very good alumni and they look after each other, they overall rapport between students and alumni is good.

It is a 4 years course which each year having 2 semesters called odd seem & even sem, odd seem generally ends by December and even sem ends by April, final year There with be elective subjects in odd seem and even sem will have a final project which is very important and span about the 3-4 months duration.

I got admission by clearing my AIEEE examination and then applied for colleges offering the Biotechnology Engineering course, I had to choose between VIT and Satyabhama, and finally took a decision of admitting in Satyabama based on the word of mouth.

Very good faculty, one good thing about this college is they take the students who finished their master's degree from Satyabama college as junior lecturers and thus securing their future too, the senior faculty are also very knowledgeable and we'll respect professors in their community.
