Likes

Teachers are well qualified and teaches well
Classes happen regularly without any cancellation.
Infrastructure of the college is beautiful.

Dislikes

Attendence criteria is 66.67% and faculty is quite strict about it.
Washrooms are not quite clean and have some sanitation isaues
Not even family members are allowed inside the campus

Course curriculum is quite relevant as it equips the students with good knowledge which can help them to prepare for UPSC and take the subject ahead in their exam as an optional.also it is beneficial for students wanting to pursue career in academics.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 20670 per year

Internships Opportunities

Deloite company offered placement to students in commerce and computer science program. They work as H.R etc The students from social science courses get to work with N.G.O although it is unpaid but you get to learn a lot in this process.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year it was around 28000Rs, for second year it was around 20,000Rs and for third year it is around 21000Rs. Yes, it is increasing in comparison to the second year about 5-6% but it is quite affordable.

My campus experience has been quite well as we have lot of societies and events to participate in and especially inter college competition that are of great importance and at the same time enjoyable and fun.

Admission

I came in this college through cuet exam. I chose this college becare Delhi University is quite famous given the alumni it have and here you have a lot of option to explore as student come from different states.

Faculty members are quite cordial with the students.we have a four year program with multiple entry and exit system under NEP guidelines. Exams happen at the end of every semester and I.a and C.a are also taken .

Likes

I like the faculty and their way of teaching
Canteen area is nice and spacious for students
In break period students can go and have fun in canteen as it has indoor gaming area

Dislikes

Our campus is too small and not do not have much area to roam

According to me, u would rate it 7 out of 10 as it actually prepares me for the real world and makes me able to handle the situation by analysing the real life case studies in class. And knowledge about reality rather than theoritical knowledge only.

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

The college is in a safe place and has hygienic and clean environment. Also because it is an all girls college there is always a sense of security.
The college offers various kinds of internships paid / unpaid which are open to students from all courses.
The college offers extra curricular activities and societies which enhance the student experience

Dislikes

There are no Ac's in any of the classroom which make it difficult for students to attend classes in the scrotching heat.
The teacher's do not finish there syllabus on time and make the subject confusing for students.
The canteen and the food there is not very hygenic

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Deloite , airtel, zomato, bajaj , kpmg, ey, accenture etc. Companies recruit students for jobs and internships. 60 percent of students in maitreyi college are placed. The highest package might range from 100000 to 1500000 and average package ranges from 4 to 8 lakhs. After my degree i plan to give government exam's like HAS etc.

Wonderful life experience that can't be forgotten.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
