What Students Say

Likes

Teacher focus mostly on practical knowledge instead of theoritical .
Student are not bully the freshers student due to rule regulations of University
Jmi provide very good canteen facilities.

Dislikes

Jmi is islamic university but most of the boys and girl usually have gf and bf which does suit university name.
Sometimes student do fight over girl and other issue which is not acceptable according to university reputation
Teachers comes late and sometimes cancel the class

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

That one thing which influenced me to get admission in this course is the Jamia reputation because it is a national university and have 3 nirf ranking and placements as I early describe that the Jamia mostly focus on practical instead of theoritical this is also the reason for mine to choose this course

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Most of the students who are persuing graduate and undergraduate course got internship opportunity by University and also get paid by University as scholarship overall the internship is also good and we are happy that we are studying in Jamia millia islamia a national university

Placement Experience

As I early talk that Jamia is a national university which give a very good placement to a university student because one of the reason of student to get admission in Jamia is due to placement of university.so overall campus placement is very good of Jamia

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admission in jmi in 2024 through entrance exam and paid 28000 a bcz I am a evening student (self finance) while the yearly fees of day students is 9000 and they also get hostel if room is available in hostel jmi provide scholarship to seniour student like who are persuing graduate course

Campus Life

As you know that I am a first year student of Jamia polytechnic so what I assume that Jamia infrastructure is looking good only from inside but from inside it in not clean as looking from outside there is no any club environment in Jamia

Admission

There is no comparison between Jamia and other colleges because Jamia is a national university which have best faculty members placement . You can get admission in Jamia through entrance exam and if any seat get vaccant then Jamia issue a spot admission for those who are seeking to get admission in Jamia .

Faculty

The faculty here are very rude behave with students and always threaten student about their marks that he will cut his marks by the way Jamia polytechnic (Diploma engineering) course duration is 3 year I am a first year student of dip electrical so currently we are studying a 9 student like civil engineering, applied mechanics, applied physics, English, workshop, mechanical engineering, engineering drawing etc all the subjects contain 100 marks .

PUSA Institute of Technology

Likes

Firstly I would say is the location of our college as it is probably the best seat of Delhi where our college is located.
Secondly i would probably go with the faculties of our college as they are just great and are like a boon.
Thirdly I would say our university DSEU as it has induced such a fine college under its name.

Dislikes

Attendance is way strict for teen aged students that some students fail just because they don't have the required attendance.

Placement Experience:

It's like MNCs and PSU sector both have combined to ensure that students from our college gets quality jobs. Yes, the placements packages aren't that great but at least diploma holders getting jobs is itself a big thing.

PUSA Institute of Technology is Pivotal!!

Likes

Ab entrance for admission here making it competitive than ever.
Learning facilities are top class as our classrooms are cool and labs are facilitated with a lot of facilities.
College is located in the top area of Delhi which is Karol Bagh.

Dislikes

No events and no fests and this is indeed a setback for students like us.

Placement Experience:

For electrical engineering our college is the best for placements as many MNCs also come here. Also, placements are like 100% and that too with an average placements of 35-45k a year. My plan is to give my best in which ever company we goes.

PIT is a mighty institute!!

Likes

Polytechnic or the diploma courses are never glorified but at PUSA Institute of Technology, we actually enjoy that more than ever.
Our campus has at least 4-5 labs for our department and we have most of our classes there.
At 16, having a professional development is impossible but at PUSA it is imperative that we will have that at all cost.

Dislikes

Some of the faculties as they are too harsh and sometimes even insults us as well.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are must here as we may not have higher degrees like other engineering college students. But we are younger and more enthusiastic and also we have the skillsets which has been taught to us at our college. A salary of 30 to 40 thousand is offered to us at the initial placements from our college.

Jamia has seperate library for each department and also some common libraries like Dr Zakir Hussain central library which is the biggest library of Jamia and has all types of books.
Common room for self study with availablity of wifi 24x7.
Polytechnic building is awesome and jamia location .

Dislikes

In sports complex as a student you can't play cricket in the stadium. It is reserved for official players.
You can't use lift of polytechnic building. It is reserved for teachers.
75% attendance is compulsory for all students other wise university will not allow to appear in exams

Placement Experience:

University of polytechnic has its own placement cell which offers on campus placement but the ratio is not satisfying. From 5and 6 th sem students are eligible for placements. Companies like vipro,l&t? tcs, voltas , tata motors etc visits. Average package for polytechnic is around 4 lakhs.

Take a look at my college

As I have mentioned earlier that the fees for my btech course is very cheap as compare to other colleges that's why I chose this college over other colleges this college gives you a good return on investment as fees is very less and average package is also decent. No I didn't applied for any other colleges nor I didn't receive any rejection. Admission process is very simple and smooth for this college and course. First of all you have to give jee mains exam and to score good rank if your rank lies less than 1.5lakhs you will surely get admission in this college for any btech branch according to your rank. So after getting cutoff rank you will need to fill their seperate registration form for admission as this University doesn't participate in josaa and other counselling it conducts their own counselling so for this you have to fill their admission form in around month of March -April then after declaration of jee mains result they start selecting students according to their cutoff and give them admission. If your name comes then simply you just have to go with your documents and complete their admission process and pay fees then that's it your admission is complete and start your classes....Read More
