Course Curriculum Overview
I think the course curriculum is perfect as per the course atleast for second year. But yeah there is one subject of environment as a part of open elective which as per me is not at all related to our course and is irrelevant
Internships Opportunities
The college offers both corporate and NGO internship. I would say that The placement cell of HR college is the best cell in Mumbai among commerce colleges. There is summer internship season from April to June articleship season from July to August and winter internship from October to November.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 12000 rupees for second year. There are not any other compulsory charges. HR college do offer scholarships and financial aids to help students study abroad. These are generally provided to students with good academic records and whose annual income is less.
Campus Life
There are a number of festivals and events that happen regularly in HR college. Also there are a variety of clubs that you can take part. This will ofcourse help in social development. We feel more confident in public and our communication skills have got much better. Classrooms has the best facility such as acs comfortable benches as well as technological provision such as projector.
Admission
I never applied for any other college after 12th since I always wanted to get admission in HR college. One of the main reasons was there is no attendance issue for bcom course. Hence since a ca aspirant this proved to be of much help. Also this college has the best reputation in case of commerce background.
Faculty
Teaching is more theoretical rather than being practical. Teachers are the best at teaching. But due to mismanagement in timetable and 2-3 teachers for almost every subject, the topics are often repeated in classes. Student teacher relationship is the best. I would say each and every teacher is the best. But yeah there are some faculties like Hindi mam whom I don't like due to her useless questioning on attendance. There are 2 sem exams each year for 3 years. Exams are much easy and it's so simple to clear them.
