Sometimes language barrier makes a division among students

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is perfectly set according to me and we will be getting all kind of courses which clearly set in such a way that each course is the advanced version of the previous one so that there will be an continuation in the process of learning Once a 1 and half month a exam will be there So totally 2 exams Teaching methods would be good and all the notes and materials will be shared by the professors frequently .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Placement Experience

From 4 th year , students could apply for placements and the percentage of students getting placement are really good in number . As i am pursuing my ECE degree, I am planning to get placed in Semiconductor industries like TATA XILINX and so on

Fees and Financial Aid

220000 YEARLY FEE including mess and tution fee FOR OBC AND GENERAL 80000 YEARLY FEE including mess and tution fee FOR SC ST Tution fee is deducted for SC ST candidates and remaining fees are common for all .

Campus Life

On odd semester , Freshers party and a Theme based event MERAKI will be happeing On even semester , A tech fest VASHISHT and a cultural fest SMAGATHA will be happening Knowledge plaza is available with all referall book for the academics as well as journal books will be available Sports fest like Interdepartment competitions and INTER IIIT will happen annually Many tech clubs are being run by students such as ROBOTICS,AUV,SAE,TAD and so on

Hostel Facilities

For girls a 14 floor hostel with 280 rooms with 2 person per room is accommodated. For boys 2 14 floor hostels with each 300 rooms with 2 person per room is accomodated Once admission process done, hostel will be accomodated by the management. Mess food will be good which includes all varieties of north indian and south indian menu.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

I applied for CEG GUINDY through TNEA and got EEE course which only needs board exam cut off. But through JEE , I got IIITDM ECE DD course and I am satisfied with the choice I made. For those who want to joij my college , they need to give JEE exam mains attempt and through JOSAA or CSAB counselling they could get admission here .

Two exams will be there per semester Mid sem and end sem Final results are through relative grading Class average will be calculated and thise who scored below average considered as failures in the particular exam Total 25 credits per semester and courses are assigned according to that An extra course of DESIGN will be there throught all the semester of 3 credits enhancing the knowledge of Designing and manufacturing and Sociology

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

I applied to NIT CALICUT NIT SURATKAL, NIT TRICHY. For my trial round i got nit suratkal for EEE. But i shifted it to down and kept iiitdmk up..I chose this as it was the only college with Smart Manufacturing. Course and i was intrested in the way the curriculum was set including Cs,ece,eee Nd mechanical.As my jee score was not great to enter cse courses in nit calicut i got rejected there. I applied for NIT TRICHY But i am getting civil engineering there so i opted out i was also getting Mechanical engineering in NIT Calicut but as it is too far away from home town i opted out. IIIT Kancheepuram- Best in terms of Academics!!!

I chose this college over other colleges because it has an NIRF ranking of range 100 to 150. Secondly it is a government college.Its placement is far better than other colleges I was getting. I was getting a secured seat in CSE in IIIT Sricity but ECE of IIITDMK is far better than CSE of IIIT Sricity.
