What Students Say

Likes

All faculties are PhD holders and very talented
Quality of infrastructure, including campus amenities and learning facilities are excellent
At my time seniors are very polite and helpful in nature

Course Curriculum Overview

I would like to rate the course and curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness as 5 on the scale of 5. If you want to do job after completing your diploma then this is the best option to choose.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 8970 per year

Internships Opportunities

After completing 4th semester college will provide you internship or summer training letter and you apply in company for internship / summer training. You have to submit summer training/ internship certificate after completing from any recognised institution or company.

Placement Experience

3.5

Most of the students prefer to go for higher studies instead of doing job. This year placement rate was quite low as compared to previous year in my department because of the recession period, since most of the company was doing layoff

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year fees: 8970 2nd and 3rd year fees: 7170, You can avail sonmany scholarship such as NSP, Jamia Teachers Association scholarship and many more scholarship. Fees will be same for every category such as sc, st or obc even general.

Campus Life

4.5

In college there is so many coding clubs, drama club which any student can join it after giving interview based on the profile the applying for. There is IIC(Institute Innovation council) 5.0, a initiative of Ministry of Education, India

Hostel Facilities

There is two campus for the boys hostel in Jamia Millia Islamia, in campus -A, each room has 3 bed, 2 fans, 3 almirah inside the room. Every floor has 4 water cooler, 4 sets of washroom and each set have 3 washroom each.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

I choose Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi because it is the top 3rd university in India according to NIRF ranking and it is situated in New Delhi, so I prefer it over other colleges that I have applied.

Faculty

The relationship between students and faculties are like a relationship with your brother and sisters. There are 2 sessional exam and 2 semester exam in year conducted by the university in the department

PUSA Institute of Technology

Likes

Firstly I would say is the location of our college as it is probably the best seat of Delhi where our college is located.
Secondly i would probably go with the faculties of our college as they are just great and are like a boon.
Thirdly I would say our university DSEU as it has induced such a fine college under its name.

Dislikes

Attendance is way strict for teen aged students that some students fail just because they don't have the required attendance.

Placement Experience:

It's like MNCs and PSU sector both have combined to ensure that students from our college gets quality jobs. Yes, the placements packages aren't that great but at least diploma holders getting jobs is itself a big thing.

PUSA Institute of Technology is Pivotal!!

Likes

Ab entrance for admission here making it competitive than ever.
Learning facilities are top class as our classrooms are cool and labs are facilitated with a lot of facilities.
College is located in the top area of Delhi which is Karol Bagh.

Dislikes

No events and no fests and this is indeed a setback for students like us.

Placement Experience:

For electrical engineering our college is the best for placements as many MNCs also come here. Also, placements are like 100% and that too with an average placements of 35-45k a year. My plan is to give my best in which ever company we goes.

PIT is a mighty institute!!

Likes

Polytechnic or the diploma courses are never glorified but at PUSA Institute of Technology, we actually enjoy that more than ever.
Our campus has at least 4-5 labs for our department and we have most of our classes there.
At 16, having a professional development is impossible but at PUSA it is imperative that we will have that at all cost.

Dislikes

Some of the faculties as they are too harsh and sometimes even insults us as well.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are must here as we may not have higher degrees like other engineering college students. But we are younger and more enthusiastic and also we have the skillsets which has been taught to us at our college. A salary of 30 to 40 thousand is offered to us at the initial placements from our college.

Review of Jamia polytechnic course

Likes

Jamia has seperate library for each department and also some common libraries like Dr Zakir Hussain central library which is the biggest library of Jamia and has all types of books.
Common room for self study with availablity of wifi 24x7.
Polytechnic building is awesome and jamia location .

Dislikes

In sports complex as a student you can't play cricket in the stadium. It is reserved for official players.
You can't use lift of polytechnic building. It is reserved for teachers.
75% attendance is compulsory for all students other wise university will not allow to appear in exams

Placement Experience:

University of polytechnic has its own placement cell which offers on campus placement but the ratio is not satisfying. From 5and 6 th sem students are eligible for placements. Companies like vipro,l&t? tcs, voltas , tata motors etc visits. Average package for polytechnic is around 4 lakhs.

Take a look at my college

As I have mentioned earlier that the fees for my btech course is very cheap as compare to other colleges that's why I chose this college over other colleges this college gives you a good return on investment as fees is very less and average package is also decent. No I didn't applied for any other colleges nor I didn't receive any rejection. Admission process is very simple and smooth for this college and course. First of all you have to give jee mains exam and to score good rank if your rank lies less than 1.5lakhs you will surely get admission in this college for any btech branch according to your rank. So after getting cutoff rank you will need to fill their seperate registration form for admission as this University doesn't participate in josaa and other counselling it conducts their own counselling so for this you have to fill their admission form in around month of March -April then after declaration of jee mains result they start selecting students according to their cutoff and give them admission. If your name comes then simply you just have to go with your documents and complete their admission process and pay fees then that's it your admission is complete and start your classes....Read More
