Course Curriculum Overview

5

So about our course curriculum I would say our college provides the best labs and courses ,the course and their objectives are amazing like we have so many interactive and interesting things to learn but I feel like mostly the faculties are not eligible to teach those subjects only some of them but still we are learning low speed aerodynamics, aircraft propulsion, partial differential equation,in department elective mine is design and development of drone which is cool to learn and the teaching methods are efficient but only from some faculties so we have cia 1 and cia 2 and practicals and then sem which is cia is continuous assessment test of all subjects we hve totally 5 modules every semester almost and some of the best teaching methods were out maths mam used to teach us one sum and the next she will ask us one by one which made us study the portions everyday to be ready for the next class and helped a lot and we are constantly asked to take presentations and we have design project where we have to come up with an innovative idea to impose in the real world we have so far designed an airfoil and an aircraft and now we are doing analysis and there are many opportunities provided but we need to take every opportunity here no one will come and will give it you

Internships Opportunities

3

The companies like Boeing ,Airbus and indiogo like all the big corporate companies came for interactions and internships and even gave job opportunities to 40+ students who are needed for their companies and some of the projects our college senior has done is he is supplying drones to Indian army he was a passed out students before 4 to 5 years back

Placement Experience

3

So the placement of our college is pretty good my senior got into Boeing and another senior got in HAL so if you have the potential and capabilities placements are easy here But I think it's kind of less the placements are because the lpa is very less ,as we are only UG students the job offers are for minimum wage so we needs extra skills to get high package and should maintain good relationship with faculties to get internships

Fees and Financial Aid

So for the admission we paid 50000 to lock my seat and after we paid the balance amount of 175000 for a year i.e semesters per year and the 2nd year is also 175000 but in 3rd year we paid 186000 and in 4th is yet to come ,this is only for btech.aeronautical course and if any scholarships there is an exam called HITSEEE in that with ranks fees will be reduced and other is the sports quota but I came in through HITSEEE and just for applying for registration of admission we need to pay 1300 to get the application and they may increase the cost yearly and my senior is studying for free because he got inside through merit there are scholarships for merit students

Campus Life

4

So the campus is definitely good here so every year YARONA is conducted which is the annual event of hits students wher dancing, singing, acting and everything takes place ,people enjoy that day many pop ups are there too and we can have fun with our collegemates and for every Friday there is a talent show wher u can register yourself and showcase any talent you have it doesn't often happen but it is called as Friday gigs and we have the biggest Library from fantasy books to engineering books to all kind of scholar books in department wise which is a good source of knowledge and for sports we have football, basketball, tennis and many more and even clubs for that and many clubs like athena, and MUN are for socialising we have student council here and NCC which is some of the club with variety of choices and ncc is useful for defence aspirant thy have army ,Navy and Air wing which is a flying unit and athena club is for theatre kids and MUN is United Nations mock up which is very good and sports clubs and so many other for students to be engaged and to socialize

Admission

So I chose this college over the others because this college is known for aeronautical engineering and is used to be a pilot school as i wanted to have a degree from an university i came here and I did not apply for any other college at all i only wanted this college and I got in through HITSEEE and the admission process was also very easy for me i got their application,I wrote HITSEEE and I got counseling and I got into aeronautical engineering and after a month they called us and it was the admission day we went there and applied for clubs, got I'd cards and uploaded all of our information in a computer for our ERP where our attendance and fees registration will take place

Faculty

4

So the facilities of aeronautical department are very less day by day because of the stress they are facing dude to their salary and mistreatment like faculties are treated very bad not given respect by the deans ,the dean is kind of rude to all the people that shows that he is not a good leader for it and the course structure is very appropriate and upto date for students we r learning about basic science in 1st year and in 2nd and 3rd year we are going into our departments and we are learning in depth about our engineering field and we get to choose department electives and non department electives where a course is provided to you in department elective you choose an elective which is your interested field related to your engineering course and non department elective is an elective where u can choose a subject which is from other departments like photography, fashion designing etc.,and the exams are standardised they are very professional and if someone fails their semester supplementary exam will be given if they fail that too then it becomes a backlog and the best faculties of aeronautical department are elumalai sir he is specialised in structures he always gives the right notes and encourages students and the best overall hod is priyadarshini madam who is a math faculty she is strict but is best teaching the faculty to student ratio in aeronautical department is quite okay i don't know the exact number but it is 30 plus faculties for 120 students in 3rd year as of now I hope so

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.
