ABOUT THE COLLEGE
REMARKS
A college with complete freedom. Not like the chennai engineering colleges who treats students as a kid. College has free wifi facility. They will allow us to wear jeans to college. You can carry mobile phone and laptop to college.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
I have paid 1lakh every year as college fees. Then hostel fees is 90 thousand. I can’t able to say whether it is expensive or feasible, because it’s an autonomous institution we want to pay what they ask.
PLACEMENT WING
If you are pursuing CSE or IT no matter for you to get a core job. But for my department mechanical engineering opportunities are less. But they provided me an internship to yamaha motor india private limited. Amazon and Zoho provides the highest package.
ADMISSION
I got admission through TNEA Counseling conducted at Anna University, Guindy, Chennai. I had applied for counseling after that anna university will release the random number and rank list. I got the admission as per anna university norms.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
My course period is 4 years. I have stayed in hostel for the first three years. Infrastructure is good. They provide both veg and non-veg till 2017. But now they are providing only vegetarian. Hospital is inside the college. ATM facility and bank is available
ALUMNI
Our college has connected the alumini students through alma connect app. Alumini meet will be held every year. Some passed out seniors from our college has their own companies. They are in touch with our college.
FACULTY
They are well and good. The campus is entirely digital. They will teach you through Smart board. Assignments are uploaded by us through google classroom and they will review it and assign mark instantly.
CAMPUS LIFE
Labs are available for each departments individually. Sports like cricket, football, basketball will be available there. Intercollege matches will held regularly. Labs are good. Most of the equipments will be available. Good environment.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
It conists of 8 semesters. 1st year is under science and humanity department. We will attend few core paper for semester. After second year we attend majorly core papers for semester. Our college is autonomous.
COLLEGE EVENTS
Symposiums are there for each and every department individually. Overall symposium is also available. Workshops, International Conference are also there. National level symposium will be conducted every year.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
I had applied for MBC scholarship, yearly scholarship amount will credit to my bank account. I have not opted for loan and all. I don’t have any idea about that. Minority scholarship is also there. They won’t provide private scholarships and all.
