- The campus is always very clean and the campus food is hygenic. The campus provides all necessary facilities and the environment of the campus is perfect for a student.
- The faculty is well trained and experienced. More than 90 percent of the teaching faculty holds a PHD in their specific course that they are teaching.
- The college is diverse and promotes a good social and cultural life for all the students.
Dislikes
- The college is too strict with attendance as we are required to maintain a minimum attendance of 85 percent per year.
- We are given a lot of assignments which is common in most of the colleges.
- The college expects the students to be well groomed all the time.
Course Curriculum Overview
The following course is quite intresting and has a variety of subjects. The main subjects include Accounting, Management and behavioural process, English and Tourism Business. These subjects are quite esay and does not need any specific training. There are also additional subjects thaught such as Corportae Ettiquettes and Hostilic Education. The overall learing process covers all the skills that is requiered for a student.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements at the beginning of 3rd year. Our college recives placement offers from companies like Wipro, ICICI bank, etc. The highest placement offered for this course was INR 15 LPA and the average is INR 7 LPA. More than 85 percent students are placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per year for students of Kranataka is INR 85,000 with an additional admission fee of INR 5,000. For students from other states of India, the fees per year is INR 1,05,000 with an additional admission fee of INR 5,000. The fees for the second and third year for Karnataka students is INR 85,000 per year and for students from other states it is INR 1,05,000 per year for second and third year. There is no difference in fees for students from different catagories and there are no scholarships or financial aids provided as well. Everyone pays the same amount.
Campus Life
The campus has a great environment and has all the requiered facilities like clean washrooms, smart classrooms, library with all the books a student would need, canteens with good and hygenic food, infirmary, turf, badminton court, football court, basement, study area, game room, gym and many more.. Our college has enormous number of clubs and all the clubs and associations are open to everyone. We have a great social life with studentd from differnt social, cultural and economical backgrounds. Overall, the college has something special for every students.
Admission
Christ is one of the top universities in India and provides great placements. The eligibity criteria for admission is to have a minimum of 60 percentage in 12th. The application process is completely online and can be done through official Christ website. After reciveing the application form via mail, the applicant must give an online exam and an offline interview as well. The exam and interview will determine the selection and the result will be posted within a week in the website.
Faculty
The faculty is well educated and talented, most of them are friendly with students. There is clear faculty-student communication. The ratio of student:faculty is 50:01. Every semester, two exams are taken : mid-sem and end-sem exams. The difficulty level of these exams is mid. More than 80 percent of the students manage to pass. In the overall evaluation criteria out of 100, CIAs add up to 70 pecent and end sem exam carries 30 percent.
